Chapter 1
I woke up in a cold sweat crying and needing comfort from my mate, which I have yet to find. I wiped away my tears and got up to get ready for school. I looked at the clock on my night stand. Ugh 5:00 am if I wake up any earlier I'm going to scream.
"Scarlett! What are you doing up this early?" Kane whispered. Kane is my big brother a little overly protective I might add. He always seems to think I sneak out to go find my mate or what ever he thinks.
"Sorry for having that same damn dream again." I said kinda pissed off.
"I'm...I'm sorry Scarlett I should start trusting you more huh?" Kane said with a small smile. I threw back my covers and walked over to him and hugged him.
"Its about time." I said in to his bare chest. I started to walk away when he grabbed my hand and stopped me.
"What?" I said confused. He pulled me back into a warm hug and sighed.
"I just don't want to lose my only sister Scar." Kane said.
"So what made you think you would lose me if I took a shower?" I said being a smart ass. I could just tell in his eyes that he might have just made the wrong decision but he didn't change it.
"Don't be a smart ass Scarlett. Hurry up and get ready before you walk to school."
"Give me my baby or you are going to die Kane"
"Make me Scarlett"
