Chapter 2

"You asked for it" I took a few steps back and lunged toward him shifting into my wolf. He took off down the hallway and jumped the stairs landing on the ground in total wolf form he had the most beautiful coat. He had light brown fur with light green eyes. I was so jealous of my brother, he always kept telling me that I had the looks and I did believe him, but its like in a family you keep each other happy but I never knew I was a pretty damn good looking wolf until one of the new members of our pack joined and told me so. I had jet black fur and electric blue colored eyes. I was staring him down when he shifted back and still had the keys. I could see my key, but how to get it was the problem. I jumped the stairs hoping he would fall to the ground but no he stood his ground like he always does. He took off to the back door but what he forgot that it gets locked every night. Haha sucker.

"Shit" Kane uttered under his breath. I shifted back and crossed my arms over my chest.

"What now big brother" I said.

"FINE! Here's your keys" He looked pissed off but I could care less. I ran up the stairs and took a well needed shower. I was in the for a good half hour before I got out. I blow dried my hair and curled my hair and put on some make up. Not a lot cause lets be honest I don't want to look like a clown. I put on some white booty shorts and a blue tank top with a white crop-top hoodie. Then I put on a pair of my black high-top converse. I walked down stairs to see my brother still pissed off but ready for school.

He was dressed in a slim black t-shirt that fit him well and some cargo shorts with white Nike socks with black vans. I walked out the front door with my backpack and keys. I walked over to my red convertible and threw my backpack in the passenger seat and headed to Starbucks to get my normal Caramel cappuccino with extra caramel. I parked in the student parking lot next to my friends black bug with my other friend on the other side in her blue mustang. We were the popular girls in school. I reached to the passenger side to grab my backpack and cheer bag when I relized I left it by the front door.

"Shit. Damn it Kane"

"What's wrong Scarlett?" Jordan asked. Jordan was one of my best friends. We've know each other since we were 5 years old. We were the first girls ever in the pack to shift at the age of 7. The age that normal girls start to shirt was at the age of 10-12. On the other hand there was Megan she shift about 4 months after Jordan and I did. So we stuck together ever since. Jordan had green eyes an long blonde hair that went about half way down her back and she had the perfect tan. Megan had long brown hair that went all the way down her back with hazel-ish brown eyes with a perfect tan. Me on the other hand had long black hair with electric blue eyes.

"I left my cheer bag by the front door when I left. Kane distracted me this morning and I totally forgot about it"

"Call your brother and ask him to bring it with him on his way to school with him" Megan said.

"I'll try" I said. I pulled my iPhone out of my back pocket and called my brother.

"Hello?" Kane said.

"Hey its me. Have you left the house yet?" I said.

"No. Why?"

"Can you please bring my cheer bag with you? I left it by the front door by accident."

"Yea sure I kinda owe you for this morning."

"Hell yea you do! I was not in the mood this morning!"

"Yea sorry."

"Its ok just put it in my car when you get here k?"

"Alright ill be there in 10 minutes"

"K cool see you later love you" I hung up with Kane and drank my coffee before class started. It was the beginning of my junior year at Spartan High and I wanted to make this year count. I got this strange feeling while walking across the parking lot. I used my mind-link with my friends.

[guys I have this weird feeling that I haven't had before and I don't know what it is.]

[well I heard that there was a new guy all the way from California] Jordan thought back to me.

"Do you know where he is" I said aloud.

"Umm yea he's right over there" Megan pointed out. He was with the football jocks. I saw my brother go to my car put my bag in the back seat and went over to his football friends. He was a senior here and he was walking towards me with the new guy.
