Chapter 4
We were all back at the pack house. As soon as I got out of the car calub had his fingers entwined with mine and we were all walking to the pack house. All the middle school kids and elementary school kids were pulled out of school also. Calub had used his mind-link with me.
[What is going on? Being I came here to visit family then go back to California. I was only sopposte to be here for a year.]
[I don't know. I'm trying to talk to my dad but he's ignoring me.] We walked kinda slow. The pack house was HUGE. It had four stories the base color of the house was white and the trim around the windows was a dark blue color. It was a modern house it had two pillars by the front door and the door was made from red wood, it has a beautiful color. When you walked in it was a white marble tile and white walls. There was a giant spiral stair case that lead up to the different stores.The base floor held the conference rooms on the south side. The north side had all the game room and entertainment for us teens. The second floor held the indoor pool and gym. The third and fourth floor was were all the bedrooms were at. Mine was on the fourth floor so I took the elevator instead of walkin up all the stairs. The children were sent to the north side. All the kids ages 13+ were sent to the south side while the younglings were sent to the north. I walked into the biggest conference room knowing it would be held there cause all the teens were coming into a room all at once. The room had a long table down the center of the room and chairs around it I got the seat next to my father and Calub sat next to me. There were chairs along the walls around the room so the younger teens sat there while the older teens sat at the table. Once everyone was sitting down it was silent. I couldn't stand it anymore.
"Dad what the hell is going on?!"
"I'm sorry that I had to pull you out of school but this was an emergency. All children need to be sent away." Matt said. All around the room there were shocked ana worried looks.
"Father so your reasoning behind all of us being sent away is?" Kane said.
"There are humans threatening are kind kane. All of you are being sent to California with Calub's pack." Matt said.
"But why they haven't done anything before why now?" I asked.
"Because the leader of the human group that knew about us died and the new leader hates are kind and is planning a attack to kill every child so all of you are being sent away. I'm so sorry children but I'm left with no choice. Do not tell the little ones they haven't turned into there wolfs yet so there is no need to worry them. Just tell them they are going on a vacation. Scarlett can I talk to you privately?" Matt said.
"Um yeah sure." I said. Everyone got the hint to leave so that's what they did.
"Oh one more thing pack everything. I don't know how long your going to be gone so take EVERYTHING." Matt said. He waited until everyone was out off the room to say anything. "Scarlett you're not coming back."
"What...why?" I said.
"Scarlett that's how it works." Matt said.
"What do you mean that's how it works" I shrieked.
"Scarlett when you find your mate you go to his pack. You'll be fine sweetheart I promise. Calub will protect you in every way possible. My wolf can sense he has strong feelings for you very strong. Stonger than I've ever seen throughout this pack. Scarlett we may be the strongest and biggest pack throughout all of them but sometimes they have weak spots. Fortunately I've made sure there are none. That's why we're the strongest. Calub's is the second and I know you will be safe. Same with your brother. You both will be fine I promise sweetheart. Calub is next in line for the pack. So that will make you his Luna. Same just like your mother. She reacted just how your acting but she warmed up too it after I calmed her down and told her I would never let anything happen to her. Do you understand sweetheart?"
"Yes I understand." I was so shocked I didn't know what to say besides that.
"I love you sweetheart."
"I love you too dad" I walked out of the conference room and closed the door behind me. Calub was across the hall waiting for me. I sat down with the door behind me and brought my knees up to my chest and hugged them close to me. Calub came towards me and picked me up to take me to my room. It felt good to be near him. It felt like little jolts of lightning going through my body. I didn't want to let go so I pulled him closer to me and he made what ever gap was there to be gone. We got up to my room and he placed me on my bed and he let go. I was kinda sad I didn't want him to let me go. He started to walk out of the room when I got up and grabbed his arm.
"Don't leave me alone...please." He stared at me for awhile and then closed the door.

I couldn't leave here alone I just couldn't. She looked so sad and looked like she needed me so I closed the door and kinda just stood there. I didn't know what to do or say.
"Um shouldn't you be packing babe. We leave tomorrow morning." Shit did I just call her babe what the hell was I thinking. I just met her today what was I thinking I'm so stupid. What is she going to think of me now....
