Chapter 7
~Calub~
I heard her laugh. God I just love her laugh. I looked up from all the food and she was sitting with one of her friends. She looked so beautiful with her hair curled then again she always was beautiful. I grabbed my plate and sat next to her. I just wanted to kiss her and put my arm around her waist but I didn't. I wanted her to have fun here. I didn't want to ruin anything that could be her last memory of her home. I just ate my food while listening to her and thinking of what was up with her early this morning. She scared me. I didn't know what to do to help her. I just wish I knew but I can't read her mind. She turned around from her friend and gave me a concerned look.
[What's wrong calub you do remember I can feel what you feel now.] She said using the bond mind-link.
[Nothing Scarlett. Just thinking that's all.]
[Bull shit don't try and lie to me. What's wrong?]
[Its nothing ok. I'll talk to you later about just have fun with your friends and your family.] She just sat there looking at me like she was unsure of what I just said but she soon nodded and went back to talking to her friends and family.
[Oh I almost forgot] She gave me a kiss.
"Sorry about earlier like this morning ill tell you later and maybe the story but I don't know if I can tell you yet." she said.
"Its alright babe. Don't worry you can tell me when your ready." I said. I gave her a kiss and she just smiled and went back to her friends. About 25 minutes went by when her dad came in the room to give his pack there tickets except for Kane, Scarlett, Megan, and I because we were going on the pack jet.Everyone was soon out of the house and gone to the airport. Kane and I had to pack eveybody else's stuff onto the pack plane which had much more room than the jet. By the time Scarlett Kane Megan and I got to the jet it was already 1:30 in the afternoon. We all got in the plane after Kane and Scarlett said there goodbyes to there mom and dad but before I got on the jet scarletts dad wanted to talk to me.
"Yes sir?"
"I want you to take care of her calub.She's not goin to feel at home right away. I love her so much. I don't want to lose my only baby-girl do you understand me?"
"Yes I understand sir, I promise to keep her safe." For the first time in my life I actually ment that promise, for once I know ill keep it. I loved Scarlett. I really do. I mean when I had past girlfriends yes they were nice but they never got to me like Scarlett does. Scarlett was different she was hard headed like her father but also sweet like her mother. When we start our family I know she's going to be a great mother but I think I'm gunna wait til were out of college before we make our family. I walked onto the plan and Scarlett wad sitting with her friend Megan I was questioning whether I should pick her up and sit her on my lap and hold her or just sit somewhere else. Fuck it I'm doing it. I walked over to where she was sitting and I stooded behind her chair. She looked up at me with those beautiful eletric blue eyes of hers. God she was so beautiful. I knew I was going to love her forever. I walked infront of her and I picked her up and sat her on my lap and kissed her. I needed to kiss her. She kissed me back and I would have gotten more intense if her friend wasn't sitting right across from us. Scarlett just smiled and laughed.
"Should I just leave you guys to your selfs or what Scarlett are you going to tell me anything else?" Megan said.
"What oh sorry megs. Ok where was I? Scarlett said. I wonder what they were talking about.
~Scarlett~
I was thinking about what my dad was saying to calub I couldn't hear they were to far for me to pick up on.
"Earth to Scar you there? Megan said waving her hand in my face.
"Hmm what? Sorry where was I? Sorry I'm just trying to hear what there saying but knowing my dad, he's talking in a hushed tone knowing I'm trying to listen in."
" You where going to tell me everything starting from when we all left to go pack for this stupid move."
"Right. So after you guys left my dad talked to me and when I left the conference room I just fell to floor not knowing what to do. So calub came up next to me and picked me and carried me to my room. I didn't want to be left alone so he stayed and helped me pack. After while well....." I paused remembering what happened exactly last night. I loved it more than anything. It wad the best night of my life I'm not gunna lie it was. I had my mate when I needed him and he was there. I loved how he was so protective of me. I loved how he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer to him I loved every moment and I didn't want it to end. It was like a dream that I didn't want to wake up from. I realized that Megan was still there waiting for me to continue.
"He started to help me pack and he talked about how he got nervous around me cause he didn't know how I felt around him so.... I let him mark me and I marked him back. Then he kissed me and we went back to packing. Long story short Angela came into the picture I put her straight. Lets just say the slut kissed calub and I was ready to ripe her bloody head off, but I calmed down and then I was neutral the rest of the time when I hugged claub. I don't remember what happened after that all I can remember was when I went to bed and calub being next to me and then my brother screaming at me this morning. But anyways life has been good since he came into my life Megan. When you meet your mate you'll understand how I feel right now." I stopped talking and I put a finger up to my lips to let Megan know to be quiet. I sent her a text and she started to laugh her ass off. I looked up to see calub staring down at me. He walked around picked me and sat me on his lap and kissed me. I kissed him I could tell he needed the kiss. I just smiled and laughed.
" Should I just leave you guys to your selfs or what Scarlett are you going to tell me anything else?" Megan said.
"What oh sorry megs. Ok where was I? Oh yeah. So as I was saying you don't know it feels. It feels amazing to wake up with your mate next to you every morning and knowing while your sleeping their there to protect you and comfort you. I'm telling you when you meet your mate I'm gunna say I told you so."
"What ever scar. I won't belive you til it happens." she stuck her tounge out at me.
"I wouldn't do that cause you might lose that tounge." I started to laugh. We both were going to California. We were going to a college there after high school. California I wonder what its going to be. I layed my head down on calubs sholder and he wrapped his arms around me pulling me close to him. My brother got up from his seat and told me to put on my seatbelt for the flight take off but I didn't have to move calub was already one step ahead of my brother. Wow for once someone was faster than my brother. Before the plane even got to full altitude I feel asleep from all the exhaustion and stress.
