Chapter 11
~Megan~
*Flashback*
I hadn't felt the same since we landed. I need an excuse to get away for a few minutes so I asked Scarlett if we could go freshen up and get my mind of the werid feeling I had. As soon as we walked out of the bathroom I took two steps and when I looked up I froze. I looked to Scarlett and mouthed mate.
She gave me this wide-eyed and ear to ear smile. She hugged me so tight I thought I was gunna pass out.
"Oh my god now you can stay here with me and you don't have to leave!" Scarlett said. But here's the thing I don't want him too know I'm his mate. I don't want this to happen to me yet. I mean I've never gotten my first kiss. I mean yes I've dated guys but they always broke up with me after two weeks so I stopped dating. I didn't want him to know that I was his mate not yet anyways. I looked up from the floor and passed scarletts worried expression and looked at him. He was so hot I've never seen someone so handsome. From what I could see he was around the same height as Calub so that's good he's taller than me. But I know nothing about him. I'll have to talk to Calub about him. I wanna know everything about him. But first I have to make sure Scarlett doesn't say anything.
"Scarlett you can't speak about me having a mate. This needs to stay between us. I don't want him knowing he has a mate yet. Please please don't say anything." I pleaded.
"Why would I say anything that's you're business not mine. But I'm gunna tell Calub you know of all people I have to tell Calub" she replied.
" I know I understand that. But please no one must know." She stared at me for a moment before she nodded her head in agreement.I told Scarlett I would be waiting in her car. I walked away from Scarlett and went right passed him without glanceing at him. I got into Scarlett's car and waited.
~Scarlett~
I didn't know why she didn't want anyone to know but I respected her and I only told Calub through the mind-link as I walked over to him.
[Why doesn't she want anyone to know. Especially Kyle he's not dating anybody. He broke up with his girlfriend like two weeks ago before school start. He said she was too bitchy and always wanted to fuck at the wrong time, wrong place. She was just an attention whore.]
[I don't know but can you please promise me to not say anything and have Kyle stay away from our side of the pack house cause Megan was getting her room across from mine.]
[ I can't do that sweetheart he's my beta. He informs me of situations that are happening or are going to happen so I can prevent them. I'm sorry beautiful I wish I could but I can't do that. The best thing I can do is let you know when he's coming up to our side of the pack house and you can use the mind-link you have with Megan ok? That's about all I can do. I'm sorry beautiful.]
"Ok Calub. Thanks anyways." I reached up and kissed him on his perfectly shaped lips. I leaned into him and he contiued to talk to Kyle. When the conversation was over I started to walk with Calub to my car. Calub opened my door to the passenger side and he got in on the driver side. I saw Megan duck down in the car I looked behind my seat to find her laying down on the seat. I was about to ask her why she was doing that but I looked up and saw Kyle in a black two-door jeep. I shock my head and laughed.
"What's so funny babe?" Calub asked.
"Nothing boo. Just can we go home. I'm tired and I want to sleep." I teased.
"Yes I'm going right now and you can't sleep you have to meet my dad first."
"But Calub..."
"No buts Scarlett." I sighed and layed back into my seat and what seemed like hours only took 20 mintues to get back to the pack house.
~Kyle~
I was talking to Calub about his mate.
"Calub what's she like? Is she pretty? Is she nice,charming,sweet?" Kyle asked quickly.
"Wow bro chill. Yes she's beautiful and yes to all three of your questions. She the most outstanding girl you will ever meet and that's what I wanted to talk to you about my mate."
"Yeah what about her?"
"Have you ever felt like you found your mate recently?"
"Yeah but I thought of it as nothing that my wolf was playing tricks on me. Why?" Kyle asked confused.
"Because when the next alpha finds his mate he has a strong attraction for his mate. But I'm making this very crystal clear right now. You touch her in any way that I would find inappropriate I will without hesitation kill you. Do you understand? So when she comes out of that bathroom you will not look that way you will look at me and only me when she gets over here you keeps your eyes where they belong. You will fight the urge to do anything with her. You got me?"
"Yes I understand Calub I won't disappoint you or angry you in any way." I looked to the ground not sure of what to say next. I then asked a bunch of question what was going on in Scarletts pack grounds but he couldn't give me much detail. I smelt a sweet perfume coming out the door of the bathroom. I did what I was told to do I never looked away from Calub. I saw Scarlett out of the corner of my eye. I could tell they were talking through there mate mind-link. When she talked outloud it sounded so beautiful to my ears I thought I was going to die. I looked her up and down I couldn't help it. I tried but I couldn't resist from her perfectly shaped body to her tanned legs up too her gorgeous hair that was curled to perfection. Oh god I wanted to kiss her and mark her as mine but I didn't I regained control and looked at both of them. The way they looked at eachother was heartbreaking to me. I wanted her to look that way about me but I knew that was never going to happen. I looked away out the window. I thought I should say something but I didn't. I walked away after Scarlett and Calub walked in front of me. I got into the jeep and followed behind Calub back to the pack house.
~Scarlett~
When he got to the pack house my breath was taken away. There well my house was much bigger than mine and in a secluded area where there wasn't anything around for at least 20 miles. The house was a cream color and it almost looked identical to mine. The front door was a solid red wood color and it was beutiful there was a beautiful flower lined path to the front door. the house was at least seven stories. I didn't know much of the inside but I was sure going to find out but after I meet claubs father, Drake. I was nervous but Calub looked at me and gave me a small smile of reinsurance that it was going to be fine. I looked at megan was putting on a hode and asked what floor her room was on. We were on the seventh floor of course and there was only four bedrooms on that floor. I was on the right side so Megan's was across the hall from me so she would figure it out. She dashed inside without Kyle seeing her. She was the second fastest out of the pack so I was kinda smiling to myself thinking of what I was going to do with her. I got out of the car and walked up the path and opened the door to find Drake standing right infront of me.
~Kyle~
I hated how Calub could just swoop in and make everything all better I mean I can too but I just wish I could do that to her. She should he mine! All mine not his. Ah god I need to stop being angry its not calubs fault. Why do I feel so attracted to her. I just want to find my mate and fast cause if I have to put up with this much longer I'm going to go berserk. I slammed the car door closed and went in through the back went to my room on the seventh floor to the left away from Scarlett. I looked down the right side to find a girl slip into the only room next to Scarlett. I guess it was her beta, so I didn't think much of it I walked to my room and slammed the door and threw myself onto the bed and wanted to sleep this whole last hour off hoping it'll be better.
~Megan~
I slipped into my room. But out of the corner of my eye I felt him watching me go inside but I didn't hear him come down the hallway so he didn't know. Thats good. I looked around the room and it was beautiful. It had beauitful wood flooring and the room was painted black. I looked around for a light switch I found it but instead of the bulb being white it was one of the black lights they entire room had neon paint splatter. I had always wanted to do it to my old room but never got the chance. The bed was a king sized with purple sheets and a black and purple comforter. I threw myself onto the bed and went to sleep being I didn't get much on the flight. I just wanted to let him know I was his mate but I just couldn't not yet.
