CHAPTER 38 "MASK"
RAPHAEL'S P.O.V (FEBRUARY 14 VALENTINES DAY THURSDAY)
"Is it really time for you guys to go?".
"Yes it's time. That's why as you four have been noted, you guys are in charge while we're gone".
"So is this meeting that important?", Kyle asked.
"Yes, believe it or not we can almost guarantee Raphael's mother will claim war on us, every pack really. And we must all be prepared for it. So make sure everybody starts training and the border team understands their mission", Kyle's father warned.
"Don't stress over it too much. You 4 have been trained in the duties required to be an Alpha, heck your ceremony is technically after you graduate. Think of it as an opportunity to get a taste of what's it like", my father insisted.
"Alright".
"Then it's settled. We'll be back in a month. Now you 4 get back to class and after school Xzeak's father will tell you all that needs to be done when you get home. Good luck boys".
We all hugged our old dad's goodbye and started walking back to class when the bell rang.
"Yes, it's lunch now", Nick smiled rubbing his belly.
"Oh, what did you guys get your girls for valentines day?"
"A gift card to Victoria Secret and flowers", they answered.
"That's what I got Sha".
"Well that's what I got Bri".
"And what I got Layla".
"But I also got my Viv squirtable cheese", Kyle bragged.
"You know Clara is gonna flip when she sees her Viv eating that cheese again", Nick laughed.
"But she was begging me for it, plus it's a good thing we got them all the same gift except the cheese. Now they can go shop together and find something special for us", Kyle admitted.
"Yeah ok, maybe not Layla and Shania since they're gonna make you two wait till the end of time", Angelo chuckled.
"Show off", I mumbled.
We continued to talk about the girls and then we started planning how and when we could organize all the work we'd be doing as temporary Alphas. We finally made it through the 2 double doors of the cafeteria and suddenly a bolt of blue electricity landed next to my head against the wall. Luckily I ducked. I closed the door behind us so no human could see, luckily this lunch doesn't contain any. In front of me, Angel was standing with his shirt a little ripped facing that vampire chick that came here a month ago that I don't know the name of nor have seen, because... I don't give a shit.... damn she's short.
"What the fuck is going on here!", Angelo demanded.
I could sense his premature Alpha authority power and everyone went silent looking at the four of us. The vampire chick calmed down from her defensive stance and kept glaring at stupid Angel.
