CHAPTER 5 "SOMEBODY HELP ME"
As we walked inside the house, we dropped all our stuff at the front door.
"Hey you guys wanna shift or practice using our powers?", Layla suggested.
"Lets just shift for today", I said.
They all gave an excited nod and we released our scent. We took our clothes off and set them down in the living room. Now we smelled like werewolves, but nobody would be close enough to smell us anyways. We shifted outside and played around for a little. You know chased each other, tackled each other, played tag. Yes we are little children at heart. Then I realized I really wanted to go to a certain place, I mind linked them.
"Hey you guys stay here, I'll be right back. Stay within the house area".
They all nodded and continued to chase each other. Then I automatically activated the flames on my feet. All 4 of us have a special color flame according to our abilities. Because we are the fated 4 we have SPECIAL abilities. Like for example, my power is the fire wave. I can send out waves of fire in any direction I want to. Just picture how a sound wave travels and spreads out in all directions. I can even control how big the wave is or who it needs to go towards. It only goes so far though and we can only use our poweres for a short amount of time. We can only use our abilities in human form. In wolf form it shows up on our feet but it doesnt burn anything. It just increases our speed nothing more.
I'm a white wolf with black socks(black paws) and I have a white flame with a hint of blue in the middle. I think it looks cool. Briana is a gray wold with white socks and a blue flame with a hint of white in the middle. Layla is a black wolf with a red flame and has a hint of black in the middle. And Vivian is a brown wolf with a black flame and has a hint of red in the middle. It wasn't till the first time we shifted that our families told us about the prophecy and our abilities.
Even after the massacre 2 years ago we kept training ourselves in an emergency we were in any danger. I myself must become stronger so I can protect the ones I love. As I kept running I finally heard the sound of running water. The waterfall was just up ahead. I dismissed my flames and drank from the water and looked up at the waterfall. So beautiful. I love how the sun shines down on it making it sparkle. I was so relaxed that I didnt even realize I was laying down resting near the bank. Before I knew it i started dozing off listening to the waterfall constantly gushing down into the river. But something was bothering me but I didnt know what. Why do I have a bad feeling deep in my gut? I put that thought aside and slowly closed my eyes.
RAPHAEL'S P.O.V
I'm still in this stupid meeting with the stupid elders, at this stupid time, and i'm stupidly still tired. Wait. Did I technically just call myslef stupid? Whatever all of this is stupid and I just wanna leave already. My friends Nick, Angelo, and Kyle were on the other side of the room looking as dead and bored as I was. Because we are the future Alphas we have to attend all the Alpha discussion meetings. We have learned literally our whole lives the responsibilty, hard work, and rules on what it takes to be one. If they gave us the positions right now we would be able to handle it easy peasy. But our ceremony isn't until months from now or if something comes up.
