Yes, Aliana is represented by Selena Gomez in this story, because, well, look at her, she's gorgeous and I'm a forever fan!! Alright, so let's get this out of the way.

Being a Kane isn't easy. Especially when your father is Marcus Kane. Since a young age, Aliana has been taught two things: One, to be tough, and two, never show fear or weakness. Because of Aliana's late mother, she was raised with little compassion. Whether it was boys or she got hurt physically, she was always told to 'toughen up.' Her grandmother Vera was the only one to make sure Aliana had feelings like compassion and empathy for others. Aliana knows that her father cares deeply for her, but he doesn't always have a great way of showing it. Athena, Aliana's mother, passed away shortly after giving birth, her body was simply too weak to continue. Later that night, Athena died in her sleep while holding Aliana in her arms. Of course Aliana blames herself for her mother's death. If she was never born, then her mother would have never died. She shut everybody out, except her best friend Luke who refused to be pushed away like everybody else. Aliana even distanced herself from her father. Then to top it all off, Aliana was not only expected to ace her Earth Skills, but she had to know the ropes as to how to protect herself too. It really wasn't much, and she was far from being a ninja, as Luke loved to call her. Marcus only had his daughter learn how to protect herself in case he wasn't there and something happened. The last thing he wanted was something happening to his little girl; little did he know what would happen just before she turned 19. After getting herself on Earth, everything changes. Everyone has a second chance.
