"Wonder what they are talking about," Olivia looked at Ava as they sat on a bench by a fountain so the dogs could get a drink. Olivia was watching Raven talking to Vlad, Egor, and Lev.
"They are probably telling Mr. Ravenstahl what happened after you left," Ava said as she checked her phone since it pinged.
"What happened?" Olivia asked as Raven started walking towards them with the three men following him. Olivia smirked at their angry faces, it was funny to her that any other time it would have petrified her but now she just found it adorable because she knew they weren't furious at her.
"Just typical press trying to pry information from me," Ava shrugged nonchalantly. "You know the usual, do you have a comment for fans, is she in the states, is it true she's in another country, how does she feel about blah, blah, blah. But I refused, of course, and ended up hanging up on them. They haven't learned the ways of the press just yet, Boss Lady, that's all, I promise. Nothing I don't normally deal with on a daily basis, they are just now seeing everything I do."
"Kitten," Raven approached them with Vlad, Egor, and Lev standing behind him.
"Let me guess, they weren't happy with the phone calls Ava gets?" Olivia smirked. Raven nodded, making Olivia and Ava chuckle and shake their heads. "Well, unfortunately it's just part of me being a celebrity. The press wants information for their tabloids and so they will do whatever they feel necessary to gather any little bit they can, even calling Ava's phone and emailing her. You only saw a glimpse of it before we came here, Yevgeny, but you should already know how it can be from helping the Blackbourne team prior to me. It's just part of being a celebrity. I'm sorry it upset them, but it's part of Ava's job dealing with them. Just be glad they haven't caught wind that I'm here yet or you would have to deal with them trying to come onto the property to get pictures of me being here."
"Shit, just imagine," Ava chuckled as she waved her hand in the air like a banner, "America's Princess staying with the Russian Mafia!"
"Oh my, that would..." Olivia bit her bottom lip nervously then shrugged and burst out laughing. "While my female fans would probably swoon, the parents and "adults" would have a conniption."
"Oh well," Ava shrugged. "At least the smart ones would know that you are really protected."
"And probably corrupted by now," Olivia chuckled as she rested her head on Ava's shoulder. "I don't honestly care what people think anymore."
"As you shouldn't," Ava smirked, "you deserve to be happy, Boss Lady, whatever that means for you."
"Kitten?" Raven asked as he watched them.
"Yes Yevgeny?" She asked, barely rolling her head back to look up at him. "You're too tall," she pouted as the sun hit her eyes.
He smirked, crouching down so he was eye level with her. "Better?"
Her smile made him smirk, "Yep."
"Good." He looked over at Ava, "you okay? Need more security? Corey change phone?"
Olivia and Ava chuckled softly before Olivia shook her head, "Nyet, we are fine but thank you. Just explain to them that it's the press' job to try and find out information on me to write their articles and it's part of Ava's job to stop them unless I want certain information to be released. Ava deals with this every day, it's nothing new for her and she is the best that there is. She knows what she is doing and I trust her completely with her handling the press the way she does. I also trust you and them to protect us from the paparazzi and anyone else that tries to find me. We aren't worried or scared, I promise."
He stared into her eyes for a minute then nodded, "Da, Kotenok."
She leaned forward and hugged him tightly, "Thank you, Yevgeny."
"What is going on here?" Luke asked as the group walked up to them.
Olivia pulled back and smiled, "I was just telling Yevgeny that he needs to explain to the three musketeers not to get upset about the persistent calls Ava has been getting. She is just dealing with the press being their nosey selves. He offered to have Corey change our public number but there's no use, they will find the new one and begin their annoying prying all over again and besides they are just doing their jobs, we get it. It's one of the downsides of me being a celebrity."
"But just think of the headlines," Ava laughed as she waved her hand again, "America's Princess staying with the Russian Mafia!"
Olivia burst out laughing again and shook her head as she stood. "What can I say?" She shrugged, "I guess I'm no longer a good girl. Come on Veles, Max," she patted her thigh as she walked towards the dance studio.
Multiple men muttered under their breath as they watched her walk off.
"Hello? This is Ava," Ava answered her ringing phone , "I'm sorry Miss Ford is not accepting phone calls at the moment. What?" She bent down and pulled her tablet out of her bag. "Okay, well I am not able to leave Miss Ford's side at the moment." She scrolled on something on her tablet, "Okay, I understand that but it's just not possible at the moment." She rolled her eyes and tapped something, "Excuse me?" She asked, tensing up for a second. "Alright, listen here, I have tried to be nice and polite but you can't seem to get that through your thick head so I will use small words so you can understand what I am saying. I said Miss Ford and I are not doing that. I understand that you feel like it is important but Miss Ford has the right to her privacy and she will decide when and where she decides she is ready to make a comment about what she has endured. You may be the press and you may feel the need to release information to the public for her fans but just remember if it were not for Miss Ford and other celebrities then you would not have a job so take your little pen and pick another celebrity to go try to get information on."
She turned her back to the group and the men looked at one another with curiosity.
"And so help me, if I find out that you try to twist this conversation into some sort of false information or you try to make me or Miss Ford look bad in any way then I will use EVERY favor I have and my right to freedom of speech and I will make your life a living hell. I have every single phone call recorded and I will release this one and every other one I have from your sleazy paparazzi company and I will show the true fans just how harassing you and your company is as well as reach out to ALL of her friends to get their experience with you as well. Then once I am done with that I will reach out to Ben Taylor and his nephew Owen Blackbourne and have them think of every single thing they can to sue you AND your company for and trust me they will and they will win. You will be nothing and be blacklisted from every continent as well, now just that teeny tiny brain of yours and decide which option is better for you? Good boy, I would say this has been a pleasure but I seriously doubt you could even grasp the concept of what that is." She hung up the phone and rolled her eyes, "fucking imbecile." She turned around to grab her bag and froze seeing the seventeen men standing there, "oh shit."
"Damn, that was..." Luke began clapping, making her blush. "Remind me to never piss you off."
"You think I'm bad, you should see Boss Lady," Ava chuckled. "She's worse than me."
"Oh we have," North chuckled. "Remember, we've seen her argue with her uncle a few times."
Ava smirked, "Oh that was nothing. When she finally unleashes it's a work of art. Excuse me, I have some work to do." She spotted the three men step away from the group and pointed her finger at them. "Stay."
