Talia couldn't do anything about her confession now, but eventually, it would work in her favor. Lindy would talk to Christina and then she would talk to Haydn. Then he would come over to talk to her and they would be friends again. She thought about all the things they would do when they finally made up as she did a handstand. It helped her think.

Unfortunately, it didn't stop her from thinking about bad things. There was still a possibility this didn't work, and Haydn would be even madder at her for messing around in his personal life. But that surely wouldn't happen. Haydn wouldn't take it that personally, she was sure of it.

To get her mind off of her ridiculous plan, she tried to do the other things she learned from her gymnastics class. But she must've lost her skills because she sprained her wrist.

It wasn't too bad, barely even hurt, but she doubted it would be easy to play hockey. Which was the worst, since she had a game today.

Her mother had bandaged it carefully and then they were off. Her mother also had the honor of informing her coach of her predicament. Even though Talia had tried to assure that it was fine, she was fine, it did not hurt to move it, but her coach was still concerned. She'd be on the bench indefinitely until her wrist healed.

She was beyond annoyed that she wasn't allowed to play and couldn't help but mutter things under her breath. She had to admit, though, that watching the sport was almost as fun as playing it.

Her team had done a good job of dominating the other and they won with three more points than the other team. After she changed, she sought out to find her mother, but instead ran into someone else.

"Talia!" As soon as she heard the call, she turned around to face the person. It was Max, surprisingly.

"Max?" Talia questioned. She hadn't even expected to see her today. Mostly because they hadn't planned anything and had yet to get each other's home phones to plan anything. Talia would have to ask for it sometime. "What're you doing here?"

"I wanted to see your game," Max replied with a smirk. "I didn't see much of you, though."

"Oh, I couldn't play," Talia told her, holding up her wrist to display the problem.

As soon as she put her arm up in the air, Max carefully grabbed it to examine it. Talia quickly became flustered at the gesture. The wrist in Max's hold began to shake a little as a blush made its way up her cheeks. It was so bad she almost didn't hear Max's question. "What happened?"

Max's caring demeanor was so appreciated, but it was making Talia nervous for some reason. "It's nothing!" Talia quickly said, trying to ignore each crack in her voice that Max quickly became amused by. "I just fell on it."
