BLURB
Singin' in the Rain has always been one of Talia's favorites. She begged her mom to rent the VHS about a hundred times each year. At first, she thought it was because she loved musicals, but then she got a good look at actress Debbie Reynolds.

It all made sense after that. (Not really.) Debbie Reynolds made her feel things she had never felt before. Feelings she never even thought were possible. It made butterflies bounce within her chest. It made her skin feel like it was boiling. It made her entire body shake. And, somehow, it all felt good.

She regrettably never really felt this feeling again until she finally decided to see what all the fuss over Phoebe Cates was about. Then again when she watched Wonder Woman. And again with Beverly D'Angelo. Lisa Bonet. Cheryl Ladd. Jaclyn Smith. The list goes on and on.

What Talia quickly gathered from this list was that the people she felt this feeling from were all women. And then another thing became obvious, this feeling she was getting was attraction.

Talia had not expected to feel this feeling again so suddenly after making this revelation, but Max moved into town. And the moment Talia saw her, she was amazed at how remarkable she was. She had easily become overwhelmed and her first reaction was deplorably stupid. Luckily, it had somehow eventually won her over. She didn't think too much about it.

The one thing Talia didn't understand was how the one person that could stand watching Singin' in the Rain as many times as she did with her (probably for Donald O'Connor but she still appreciated the effort) would ultimately be the one to pull away from her. In a way that seemed never-ending.
