(TW: this involves conversations about the Russian government and conversion camps, this is based on my own experiences in a Russian conversion camp I was in when I was 7-8, obviously this isn't fully my story, but I wanted an oc I could relate to)

Igor is a police officer, mainly working on the plainclothes side as a mental health professional and a CPS case worker for the Polish police
He rarely smiles, mostly wearing a frown as his usual look. Igor grew up in a small town in Russia
He was 7 when he was sent to a conversion camp for expressing Queer thoughts. He harbors extreme hate for the Russian government and for most organized religions.
Igor immigrated to Ukraine and eventually to Poland when he was discovered by humanitarian workers after a Jewish-Ukrainian family found the group and reported it, he still keeps in touch with the others who were there with him and the people who rescued him.
He lived with the Ukrainian family for several years before getting a home in Poland, he considers himself culturally Jewish because of the years he spent with them. He sees them as his actual family as he grew very close to them.
He is very quiet and is more of a listener than a speaker. He grew up very reserved and wasn't really allowed to speak his mind around his parents and little sister. Igor's parents loved his sister more than him because of his sexuality
Igor actively exercises and enjoys it very much, he gets happy when he sees himself growing muscles and getting stronger.
He knows Polish, Ukrainian, Yiddish, Hebrew, and Russian
Igor likes men and women, finding men his preferred type, though he does have some internalized homophobia from his childhood
He has never been in a relationship, opting for a few one night stands with men and women, he finds it difficult to trust someone for more
He has a butterfly tattoo on his chest to symbolize new beginnings, deciding to not let his past speak for him

#1: Your character is in a public place like a bar when you notice a striking man drinking by himself
#2: you're a criminal and you have an unfortunate meeting with a cop named Igor, instead of arresting you, he has a talk with you about what you're doing and he tries to turn your life around
