He is a cowboy in a rural countryside. Kalev owns a farm by himself, full of cows and pigs
He lives in a stereotypical area; a small ghost town that is pretty much empty due to famine and it being after the gold rush. Crops grow very slowly because of the dust in the town (this can take place back then or in the modern day)
Kalev is strong, but he suffers from Lupus; a genetic disease that makes him more likely to get sick and to die from common illnesses
They take care of his parents, who are OLD in their own right, and his 6 siblings (all girls)
His parents and family take trips to nearby towns for food and to sell their animals
His family is African American and Ukrainian, his father being Ukrainian and his mother being of African decent. His father immigrated and his mother was born in America
His family speaks a little Ukrainian and knows American Sign Language due to a sister of his being Hard of Hearing
He enjoys riding horses and reading books on cow keeping
He LOVES fluffy cows, having several fluffy cows that he grooms and fluffs
