Rei POV-
I stood in my bathroom at my mirror and styled my Mohawk up with a bit of gel. I walked back into my room and put on some lotion and then put my boxers on. I walked to my closet and pulled on a pink polo shirt and cargo shorts. I heard my phone ring and bounced onto my large bed and looked at the caller.
Teehee, my girlfriend was calling.
"Yo?" I asked answering the phone.
"You wanted me to call you?" Karin asked through the phone.
"Yeah. I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date tonight? Ya know, like a real date." I replied with a smile, although she couldn't see it.
"A date? To where."
"I was thinking some dinner,"
"Boring."
"Walk in the park?"
"Lame."
"Smoothies?"
"Unoriginal."
I groaned loudly, "Play with the animals at the pet store?" I suggested.
"I do that on a monthly basis."
"Why are you so difficult? I just wanna have some fun with you tonight." I sighed.
"Well, you're you, I'm sure there's a better idea somewhere in your head." she assured me.
I thought for a second and then smirked, "Wanna go watch the lobsters fight at the seafood restaurant? Then you can pretend to get sick so we don't have to leave, go get dinner, go get some smoothies, go on a walk, and then go play with the pets at the pet store?"
There was silence from the other side of the phone for the second and then she spoke up, "That sounds pretty fun actually."
"Yeah!" I sat up happily on my bed, "Wear something cute for me okay?"
"I'm wearing your hoodie and leggings."
"Mmmm that's pretty cute." I replied.
"Hey, while we're at the pet store can you buy me a bunny?"
"Do you think I'm made of cash?"
"I see the brand of your clothes. You have a $2,000 motorcycle, your own town house, and you aren't in debt for college. I doubt a rabbit would do damage to your rich lifestyle."
"My level of wealth has nothing to do with anything."
"Then it shouldn't be a problem for you to get me a bunny. Cmon I'll buy the cage and food and you just pay for the little critter."
"Karin-"
"I'll name it after you," she cooed.
I groaned, "My dad isn't gonna like me buying people pets but okay. I'll get you a bunny."
"Thanks Rei." She chirped happily into the phone.
"You're soon to be welcome. Bye Strawberry."
"Bye~"
I hung up the phone and groaned softly. I put my hands over my face and chuckled into my hands. My dad has been pretty chill over the crap that I have and buy, but buying my girlfriend of a two weeks a pet bunny rabbit? I don't think he'd like that.
I decided to text the old man and told him I'd pay him back with the money I earn at the car shop I work at.
>>FF to like 4PM>>
I walked to Karin's building door and rang her buzzer, waiting for her to buzz me inside.
"Who is it?" She asked through the intercom.
