Meet The Team | Chapter 002

V's POV

V: "Ugh...  What the hell are we still doing out here, J? There's no trace of anything except for a few footprints that were covered by the snow." I said, sick of picking our way through the dirt, instead of doing our actual job.

J: "Listen, 5 more minutes and then we'll leave and find some drones to eat, happy?"

V: "Deal!"

I then walked around for another few minutes before finding a bullet casing inside a building, used only hours earlier. "Hey, J? I just found a bullet casing, you think the workers might be using guns now?"

J: "whatever they're using, it didn't have much affect against whatever killed this guy. This one seems like they were flattened alive."

She said, turning to me whilst holding a giant crushed metal circle with random worker limbs poking out the sides.

V: "Robo-Jesus, do you think we have a problem on our hands?"

J: "What I think is that we should get back to the Spire, N's probably bored out of his titanium skull right now."

V: "Yeah... But do we really care what they think?"

J: "...Nah, let's keep searching for clues."

N then called us over the radio; "Hey guys? I think you should come back around now, I just got some new information about the giant metal man."

J: "Don't interrupt us idi- wait what? You found something out about the metal thing? Do you know where it is?"

N: "Yeah, it's right in front of me, in the Spire. Why?"

Y/n's POV

N: "...Hello? J, V, do you copy? Huh. Must've went radio silent."

Y/n: "Good, means they're headed here, and if they're headed here, it means you can introduce us to them."

N: "Yeah, but who exactly are you? I didn't get the time to ask with all the 'talk fast or die' stuff."

Y/n: "All you need to know at the moment is that I'm here because I was employed by your boss to help you with your mission, AX is here because he's my Titan Mech."

N: "Titan Mech?"

Ax: "Pilot, I recommend we continue this conversation later, two targets have just appeared on my ECHO scanners."

Y/n: "Stand down Ax, they're likely just J and V."

J and V then climbed inside of the Spire using a hole in the upper sides,

N: "J! V! It's okay, they're friendly! They were sent down by JCJenson to help us!"

J: "Like hell they are! What's your confirmation code, unknown intruder?"

Ax then stood up and turned towards them, shocking them with his titanic stature.

V: "Holy moly, can I please fight the big one? Please J? I'll do anything!"

J: "What you will do is hold position until they give us a reason not to attack."

Ax: "Any attack against me or my Pilot will be neutralised upon attempt, do not give me a reason to terminate you right here and now."
