Haneul's POV:

I woke up late again and saw that I only had ten minutes to get ready and leave the house.

There was no way I'll be able to get ready that quickly, which meant that I'll be definitely seeing him at the bus stop that morning.

I was indeed correct because when I got there, I had missed the bus and was groaning in frustration when I heard fast footsteps approaching followed by the sound of someone panting.

"Did the bus just leave?" Sunwoo asked as he continued to release heavy breaths.

"Yup and now we are both gonna be late" I sighed loudly.

I was suddenly getting deja vu.

Just when I said that, another bus came.

"Looks like that won't be happening" Sunwoo replied with a smug smile before he approached the bus, me following shortly behind him.

We both went up to the upper deck, me sitting behind him.

As soon as the bus started to move, Sunwoo got his phone out and called someone.

"Hey man, did we get bio homework?" he asked into his phone.

"Shit, what was it?...bro I haven't even started it...is it long?...you think Sir will give me detention?...I'm on the bus...nah, there won't be enough time...alright...okay bye"

He then gave a long sigh before turning to me, "You have Mr Jung for bio, right?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Did your class have to do a paper for homework?"

"Yeah, we had to do a paper 2"

"Do you have it on you?"

"No, I don't have him today"

"Fuck" he replied as he turned to face back to the front and seeped into his seat with his hands in his hair.

"Why?"

He turned back to me again, "I have to do that paper by first period today"

"You can do it now"

"Are you mad? Do a two hour paper right now?"

"Obviously you're not going to finish it, but it's better to do something than nothing, and then you could continue it during form" I rolled my eyes at the end, quite offended that he called me mad.

"Oh yeah, you're right" he replied before getting out his iPad and apple pen.

Few seconds later, I hear the sound of his pen connecting with the iPad as he began to do his homework, the sound of tapping like music to my ears.

"So," he started as he continued to write, "what did you think of my birthday post the other day?"

I hummed in reply as I pretended to be deep in thought, "Not bad, I guess. You should've put your account on public so we could repost it"

"You can't repost other people's post if their account is on private?"

"Nope"

"Oh, I didn't know. I'll do that next time then"

"Will we even still talk by then?" I thought aloud.

The sound of his apple pen tapping on his iPad suddenly stopped as he half-turned to me, "You don't think we'll talk after high school finishes?"

From my point of view, he looked like he was smiling slightly however, the tone of his voice when he asked that question sounded like he was very offended.
