Chapter 5

In an alley, Elastigirl, Telekibunny and Indestructadog were listening to a police scanner.

Elastigirl: "Seems strange to wait for crime."

Telekibunny: "We just go look for it."

Winston: "Relax, you're smack in the middle of the worst crime area in the city. It's perfect."

Indestructadog: "And how long do we have to wait here?"

Lionheart: "They could be anywhere, and you'll be ready to strike."

Winston: "After all, it's a superhero's..."

Elastigirl and Telekibunny: "Superhero's playground."

Elastigirl: "Right."

Indestructadog: "We get it."

Elastigirl: "You know, after we went underground, my husband used to listen to a police scanner. Waiting for something to happen. And I got mad at him for it."

Telekibunny: "Is that why he and the others were causing trouble in areas where me and my husband would usually respond?"

Winston, Lionheart, Evelyn, and Bellwether laugh.

Bellwether: "Some heroes can't let go, huh?"

Elastigirl: "Exactly. Oh I'm such a hypocrite."

Telekibunny: "Don't tell him you were..."

Scanner: "All units..."

Elastigirl: "Something's up!"

Scanner: "Picking up some chatter about potential disruption to the hover train's opening ceremony."

"Disruption or threat?"

"Both. Station's at 54th and Nottingham."

Lionheart: "Oh yes!"

Winston: "A potential threat! Perfect! 54th and Nottingham. GO GO GO!!"

Telekibunny hops on the Elasticycle and Elastigirl speeds off to the station with Indestructadog following close behind.

Back at the house, Violet was blow drying her hair when Bob walked in.

Bob: "Hey Vi. I want you back here by 10:30."

Violet: "11ish?"

Bob: "10ish, heading for 9:30ish."

Violet: "10:30ish it is."

Bob: "Enjoy the movie."

He walks away, then there was a knock on the front door.

Nick: "Don't worry Bob I got it."

He opens the door, it was the Lightfoot boys.

Ian: "Hey, Mr. Wilde, is Mr. Parr here?"

Nick: "He's in the other room, why?"

Ian: "Okay, we're picking up Violet, and then Tony. We'll be taking them to the movie."

Nick: "Um. Okay. You're a little early."

Barley: "Apparently Chuck called us and told us about this house. So I figured we should check it out."

Before Nick could respond, Chuck runs to the door and sees the brothers.

Chuck: "Hey gang, you wanna come in? Plenty of room in this house!"

Barley: "Heck yeah!"

Meanwhile, Bob was reading a book to put Jack-Jack to sleep, which he does. He puts Jack-Jack in his crib and goes to the living room to watch TV. Then he sees everyone outside in the backyard. He noticed Barley and Ian were standing outside with the others.
