LOGAN'S P.O.V.

As I walked into the classroom, the usual silence fell over the students. Everyone stopped and stared at me. The girls, as always, were already daydreaming about me.

“Alpha Logan, you are welcome,” the teacher greeted me, his voice low enough for only me to hear. I gave him a brief nod in acknowledgment.

In this school, there were both werewolves and humans. The teacher, like me, was a werewolf. I scanned the room, my gaze drifting across the students until it landed on her—a girl sitting in a hoodie. The moment I saw her, my wolf stirred, and I could feel it screaming inside me.

Mate. Mate. Mate.

I couldn’t stop staring at her, even though her head was resting on the desk, and her hoodie kept her hidden.

Why is she wearing a hoodie? I wondered. Is she ugly?

I made my way toward my seat, the one next to hers. When I reached her, I tapped her lightly. She raised her head, and when her eyes met mine, I was struck. Those ocean-blue eyes… they were so captivating, it felt like my heart skipped a beat. I tried to see her face, but that damn hoodie was in the way, and I could feel my frustration rising.

Then I noticed something else. She was staring at me, her gaze almost dazed. I couldn’t help but smirk at the sight.

“When you’re done gawking at me, move,” I said, a hint of arrogance in my voice.

But it was like she didn’t hear me. She just kept staring, her eyes locked on mine.

I couldn’t help but smirk a little more. That was until the teacher spoke up. “Miss Parker, are you okay?”

She snapped out of her daze and looked at him. “Yes, yes, I’m fine,” she replied, and I swear her voice was the most beautiful thing I’d ever heard.

The teacher spoke again. “Then would you mind leaving Mr. Parker’s seat?”

“Oh, okay,” she mumbled, and I could see the embarrassment in her eyes as she stood up. “I’m sorry.”

She moved to the seat in front of me. I sat down, still unable to stop staring at the hoodie covering her face. I wanted to rip it off and see what my mate looked like. It was like she felt my gaze because she started pulling the hoodie down slightly.

That’s when I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself. The intoxicating scent of roses wafted from her hair, and I couldn’t help but inhale deeply.

“Hmmm,” I muttered under my breath, lost in the moment.

Before I knew it, the bell rang, and she immediately got up and left the classroom.

What’s wrong with her? I thought as I watched her leave.

I stood up and left the class, heading to my next one.

So, I guess I never really introduced myself. Here it is, I guess. My name is Logan Pierce, and I’m the alpha of one of the largest, most feared, and most powerful packs in all of Europe—the Red Moon Pack. My beta’s name is Dylan, my gamma is Ace, and my delta is Zack.

As I stepped out of the classroom, I saw Dylan. “Hey, Logan,” he called out, coming toward me.

I turned to look at him. “What?”

“Did you see that hoodie girl?”

“Yeah, why?” I replied, already feeling annoyed.

“Well, Teresa said that she wears the hoodie because she has a scar,” he said, looking a bit hesitant.

“What?” I muttered, more to myself than anyone else.

I felt anger bubble up inside me, and I strode off toward the school grounds, leaving Dylan behind.

I entered the forest, needing to release some of my frustration. I found a tree close by and began hitting it with my fists, venting my anger. “Why did she have to give me a mate who’s human and also ugly?” I grumbled, frustration building in my chest.

“Stop making a fuss,” I heard my wolf, Max, say in my mind.

“What did you just say?” I snapped, feeling my temper flare.

“I said stop making a fuss,” Max responded, his voice calm.

“Are you out of your mind?” I shouted back. “Have you forgotten that she’s a human and has a scar on her face?”

“So what?” I muttered. “At least we’ve got our mate.”

“Just shut up,” Max retorted, and I blocked the connection.

After a while, I finally calmed down enough to get a call from Ace.

“What is it?” I asked, irritation still lingering in my voice.

“It’s lunchtime,” Ace said on the other end.

“I’ll be there,” I replied, cutting the call. I turned and made my way back to the school.

As I walked, I was so focused on my phone that I didn’t notice when I bumped into someone.

I looked down and, of course, it was her—the girl in the hoodie. Our eyes met, and I felt the connection deep in my bones.

“Sorry,” she apologized quickly.

I didn’t know what came over me. Without thinking, I said, “Maybe if you took that fucking hoodie off, you might see where you’re going.”

“Huh?” she asked, her voice laced with confusion, as if she wasn’t sure what she had just heard.

“Fuck,” I muttered under my breath, running a hand through my hair. I couldn’t believe I’d said that. But I didn’t know how to fix it, so I just turned and walked away.

Bonus' Chapter
EMILY'S P.O.V

“He's a weird guy,” I muttered to myself, still shaken by my earlier encounter with him.

I had made a promise to my dad. This week, I would make new friends. Today was Friday, and I hadn’t managed to do that yet. So, with determination, I decided to go to the cafeteria.

I stood in front of the door, giving myself a pep talk. “Emily, you can do this,” I whispered under my breath. I took a deep breath, counted to three, and then pushed the door open.

As soon as I entered, I was met with the stares of every single person in the room. Their eyes were on me, and I could feel the weight of their judgment. I froze, panic rising in my chest. I knew I couldn’t do this. I couldn’t face them, not like this.

Without another thought, I turned and left the cafeteria. The cold air of the hallway hit me as I leaned against the lockers, trying to steady myself.

“Emily, breathe,” I told myself, holding the lockers for support, hoping to calm my nerves.

But the pressure was too much, and I could feel my legs start to give way. “Emily, hold yourself together,” I whispered, trying to remind myself that I wasn’t going to collapse.

But it was no use. I could feel myself slipping.

Just as I thought I was going to hit the ground, something unexpected happened. I didn’t fall. Instead, I was caught.

The familiar scent of mint reached my nose, and for a moment, everything else faded away. Before I could react, the world around me blurred, and I lost consciousness.

What do you guys think. Will Emily be happy when she finds out that it was Logan that saved her. Find out in the next chapter and don't forget to vote 😁😁.
