"Push a little further on the edge
Crawl a little further on the bed, babe
I'm burning up, yeah, all I see is red"- Chase Atlantic
"We're forgetting this ever happened, okay?" Elana demanded. She wrapped a towel around her shivering body.
Damien wanted so bad to just grab her into his arms and warm her body. To bring her shivering to a stop. But her demand reminded him of what this was. Two people how hated each other and occasionally had sex.
"You're back to hating me?"
Elana turned around to face Damien. They stopped walking. "Yes. We're forgetting about this."
Damien sighed and forged a gentle smile. "Yes, ma'am,"
Elana rolled her eyes as they began walking again.

She was tangled in white sheets when someone knocked on her door. Her vision was foggy when she stood and she almost tripped over bedding.
She yanked the door open with unnecessary rage. A wide-awake Damien startled her. Her lips parted in surprise.
He looked as if he had been awake for hours. Freshly showered, pristine clothing, neat hair, and he smelled good too. Elana wanted to close the door on him. She looked horrendous, her hair a bird's nest. Her breath was stale and her throat dry. Her tank top and shorts were wrinkled, a visible outline of her nipples reacting to the cold.
"You okay?" He referred to her stunned expression.
She dragged a hand down her face and cleared her throat. "Um, yeah. What's up?"
He leaned on the door frame and Elana had to resist biting her lip. "Breakfast started 2 hours ago. Marissa and Charles are already downstairs. I wanted to see if you'd accompany me for breakfast?"
Damien noticed her eyes trailing over his body. As the cocky man he is he just stood there and let her.
She nodded after a moment. "Okay. Just- um, let me get ready, yeah?"
"Of course. I'll be waiting. No rush though."
Elana closed the door on him, embarrassed. Not only because of her looks but the fact that it was nearly 12 AM and she'd just woken up. That meant Damien had been waiting for her.
Why had he been waiting for her?

Elana sat in front of a plate piled with her choice of pancakes, strawberries, bacon and an interesting omelette.
Beside her sat Damien and in front of her Marissa and Charles. The to-be-married couple had already eaten but they stayed for conversation.
"You guys stayed out late last night. A fan of the beach?" Marissa said, her eyes flicking between Damien and Elana.
Elana's eyes widened. She swallowed down the half-chewed food in her mouth, following it with the rest of her orange juice. She tried to fight away the blush that threatened to show. Damien only grinned at her reaction.
"Yeah. A huge fan of the beach." He answered, his eyes still on Elana.
They appeared extremely suspicious but both Marissa and Charles didn't notice.
"I'm glad," Marissa grinned. "Anyway, I have plans for us today."
Elana shook away the rush of anxiety she had just undergone.
"You guys don't have 'fits for the wedding, right?"
Elana and Damien looked to each other and then back. "Were we supposed to? I didn't bring anything." Elana informed her.
