Part 4 || Unseen Love: Wish to see you, Nhu

James looked at Nunew's pale face. Nunew is lying on a hospital bed. His face was very pale and looked lifeless. His exposed body was now covered with many wires. Only with that wire was he able to survive for now.
James: What should I do, Nunew ? I've told you before this but you keep on ignoring me. Look what happened right now ... I'm scared ... what if you leave me ?

James and Nunew are true friends. They have been friends since university days. They both graduated and accidentally they both work in the same hospital. James is a surgeon while Nunew is a special emergency doctor.

James stepped out of Nunew's treatment room. James stepped closer to Poppy as his eyes looked into Nunew's treatment room.

James: Did you taking care of him ?
Poppy: I did, doctor.
James: His tumor is getting worst ... it's stage 4. He should stop from working and have a rest.
Poppy: I told him about this but he said that he's okay.
James: He forgot to take care of himself while taking care of others.
Poppy: How about his latest condition ?
James: All I can say is he's critical. He need to do surgery.
Poppy: But the surgery will be not 100% success, right ?
James: Yes but at least we try. We can ask help from God and pray for the surgery to success.
Poppy: Actually, he always hang out with Khun Zee all the time.
James: The director's son ?
Poppy: Yes.
James: Is there something between them ? I mean any special feelings between them ?
Poppy: I can't answer this question but I can see that Dr. Nunew is so happy when he was with Khun Zee. The way he treat Zee is not like a doctor treat his patience.

James and Nunew's conversation stopped as soon as Nunew woke up and was coughing. James and Poppy then stepped in to check on Nunew. Nunew coughed so hard that a lot of blood came out of his mouth. His face looked pale.

James: Nunew !!!
Nunew: Phi ... it hurts ... (While coughing)
James: Where ?
Nunew: My head ... it hurst so much ...
James: Nunew .... your condition is getting worst. Let's have surgery right away ! Poppy, he's losing blood too much. Get ready for the blood. He need blood !!! RIGHT NOW !!!

Without wasting time, Poppy then stepped out to take some blood supplies to be channeled into Nunew's body. Nunew lost a lot of blood and that would make his condition worse.

James: We do surgery, okay ?
Nunew: But you said the surgery might be fail. (While coughing)
James: No ... I will try my best ... I will try my best to make you alive. We do surgery, okay ?

Nunew couldn't open his mouth because he was so engrossed. Thick red blood began to flow so fast that it soaked his shirt.
Nunew: Yes, I will do the surgery.
James: Nurse, get ready the surgery room !! Right now !!
Nunew: But before that, can you help me ?
James: What is it ?
Nunew: I want to meet him.
James: Khun Zee ?
Nunew: Yes ... let me see his face first. At least if I'm already gone, he's the last thing I saw before I close my eyes.
James: Nunew ... don't say that such thing !!!

Nunew still coughing. He suddenly remembered a movie about a tumor patient like him. He was watching the movie with Zee.
'I wonder whether our love story have the same ending as the movie ...'

At 11 pm ....

James looked at the face of Nunew who was lying on the bed. In a few hours, he will be responsible for performing surgery on Nunew. Now, Nunew is resting because a while ago he lost a lot of blood which made his body weak.

James: Nunew .... please be strong naa ... I know you can do it ...

James reached Nunew's right hand and he grasped it tightly. Unconsciously, tears flowed down his cheeks. He was afraid. To be honest, he was afraid of losing Nunew.
