Dearest Father

Daddy Dearest stood proudly in the mirror wearing a suit and tie.

"Alright Dearest today's the day you announce your retirement, you can do it." He told himself straightening his tie.

He then came to his beautiful daughter with a singular red strand of hair resembling a cowlick, she was asleep and swaddled in peace.

Dearest's heart melted in it's place.

He then went downstairs to see his wife Mommy Mearest sitting on a chair as Terry and Carlos did her hair.

"Well mommy, my day's come to become a father and retire." He said to his wife.

"I guess that mean's that I'll bring home the bacon." Mearest laughed.

then there was a knock at the door.

"Oh, must be the limo men." Dearest said

Outside there was a small girl with blue hair looking up and seemingly shivering within the rain.

"Eh, little girl what are you doing here?" Dearest asked.

"Daddy told me to stay here for Mommy's sake." The little girl said.

"Honey, what's going on?" Mearest asked.

"There's a little girl on our porch."

Mearest quickly came to the door and saw the little girl trembling in the rain.

"Come in dear." Dearest said softly.

They let her in and had two henchmen gave her some towels.

"Anything you'd want to drink?" One of them asked.

"Hot cocoa, please?" She asked.

Dearest snapped for the henchmen to make the best cocoa ever.

"So, what's your name sweetie?" Dearest asked.

"I'm Khole, Khole Franklin." Khole said.

"Well, what happened?" Dearest asked.

"Daddy and Mommy took me and my brothers and sister from the house and throughout town, Daddy dropped me off here and took Michael and Miku." Khole explained as she teared up.

Dearest hugged her and let her cry.

"Shh, you're safe here." Dearest cooed, he continued to console her.

After she had her cocoa Dearest gave her a nice bed and a blanket next to his baby in the crib.

"I want to adopt her." Dearest said.

Mearest sighed.

"I thought you hated blue."

"This will be an exception." Dearest said
