"I want your opinion on something," Daniel announced as soon as he sat down on the picnic bench across from Evelyn.

"Uh oh," The woman rolled her eyes, picking at her food in front of her.

"What?" He looked offended.

She pointed her fork in his direction, "You only ever want my opinion on something when you're about to do something stupid," She popped a piece of food into her mouth, "Or when you already have."

It was then his turn to roll his eyes, tapping his foot against hers playfully, "No, seriously though. I was thinking about going on the run today."

Evelyn's eyes shot up to meet his, "Okay..."

"And I thought you might want to go with me." He prompted.

The brunette pursed her lips, "Runs can be dangerous, Danny. Are you sure you want to-"

"Yes, yes, mom," He waved her off, "I'll be fine. But I think it'll do you some good to get out of this prison for a while. I know how quickly you get stir crazy."

She rolled her eyes again, "What gave it away?"

"You mean besides the large rock you threw at my head this morning for 'looking at you wrong'?" He threw a bitch-face in her direction.

That at least emitted a small chuckle out of her, "Fine, I am getting a bit testy being locked up in here." She thought about it for a moment, "Not to mention I can't leave your stupid ass out there all by yourself..."

Daniel lit up, "That means you'll come?"

Evelyn sighed, having no doubt in her mind that she would grow to regret this decision, "Yes, fine, I'll go on the stupid run with you."

The man grinned, jumping up and grabbing her by the arm, "Great, cause they leave now."

Her eyes widen, "Wait, what-"

He didn't let her finish, beginning to drag her towards the car the group they would be accompanying was no doubt already setting up in.

Evelyn caught the eye of Carol, a kind woman she had met on a few occasions who had just so happened to be the one to make the breakfast that morning, and gave her a small wave.

Amusement seeming to dance in Carol's eyes, she waved back.

"Hey!" Daniel announced as they drew closer to where a couple vehicles were parked, "Need two extra set of hands?"

At once, multiple eyes shot to the pair and Glenn gave a warm smile when Evelyn made eye contact with him.

Though she returned it, it quickly dropped when Daryl poked his head out from behind a truck, his eyes narrowing in on her immediately.

"Always," Glenn called back, glancing at the woman next to him- Sasha.

In the little while Evelyn had been in the prison, she had come to see Sasha as somewhat uptight.

Not in a bad way, though. If anything, it was good. There needed to be people like Sasha in order to keep things running smoothly.

The woman eyed the pair for a moment before nodding, "You got weapons on you?" She asked.

Daniel held up his gun to show her and Evelyn just nodded.

"Great, hop into any free car." Sasha slid into the driver's seat of the closest one to her.

Daryl's eyes finally snapped away from Evelyn's face and he stalked past her to his motorcycle.

Her heart ached when she looked at the motorcycle and automatically recognized it to be the one Merle had sitting in his garage for years upon years. He was always in there, fixing it up.
