Super Model Samantha Rivas' captions on her intagram, posting a picture of her hand wearing a diamond ring. As speculated in the world of fashion, Ms. Rivas is now engaged with the Multi Millionaire, the CEO of a well known and well awarded fashion magazine "The Spinsters", the very good-looking Mr. Juan Nero Lozvoi.

I look at Lira, it shows through her face how terrible the news that she just read.

I sigh and close my eyes, maybe it will lessen the pain, the suffering and the hurt that wraps through my whole system.

"Vera?'' she almost choke, halos maiyak siya nang banggitin niya ang aking pangalan.

"You're about to cry Lira, ako dapat ang maiiyak ngayon." A small weary smile formed on my lips.

She quickly run to me and hug me tight. I heard her crying. She really is an angel, she was also hurt, nakikidalamhati siya sa kalungkutang nanunuot sa buo kong pagkatao. Alam niyang nagsisimula nang mamatay ang puso ko sa balitang kumakalat.

May mga luhang pumatak sa aking mga pisngi, ang aking lalamunan ay tila nakabara at hindi makalunok. Napakasakit! Sobra sobrang sakit.

I wipe my tears habang hindi pa niya nakikitang umiiyak na ako.

Bahagya niya akong itinulak ngunit nakahawak pa rin siya sa aking mga balikat. Pinagmamasdan niya ang buo kong mukha. She knows that I am in pain. She can read my soul.

Muli ay humagulhol siya ng iyak. I chuckle to lighten up the atmosphere.

"Lira, hush. Parang mas ikaw pa ang broken hearted kesa sa akin." Tudyo ko sa kaniya kahit halos gumaralgal na ang aking boses. Pilit pa ring pina-normal ang tono ko.

"Kahit gaano mo pa itago alam kong nasasaktan ka ngayon. I know who you are, we were best of friends since elementary. Kahit pusong bato ka at hindi umiiyak I know deep in your heart you're crying in pain Vera." Sumisinok na saad pa niya.

I smiled at her, a very appreciative smile. She's just not a bestfriend for me, she's more than that, a sister that I never had, or a mother that is always by my side whenever I am happy, whenever I am in pain and whenever I struggle so much.

"It's not the end of the world gurl. I'll be leaving soon kaya ayoko ng malungkot and sooner makakalimutan ko rin siya Lira. C'mon that was just a puppy love." I laugh at her.

Yeah, it took forever para makalimutan siya. Sino bang niloloko ko? Eh di sana nuon pa nagawa ko nang burahin siya sa aking isipan. Damn him!

"You sure of that Vera?" kita pa rin sa mga mata niya ang pagdadalawang isip sa aking mga nasabi. I nod at her and hug her once more.

"I think we need a short vacation." I suggested

"Huh? Saan?"

"Let's go to Baguio, malamig ang klima dun. It would be a perfect place for me to let everything go and to diminish this agony." And to forget everything about him kahit in a short period of time lang.

Oh God I really need to loosen up a bit! I'm really exhausted with the different level of pain inside.

I'm a tough woman!
