7. Precure Investigation! Who is Cure Nalu?

Shio walked over and opened up the front door to see Hikaru standing there with a solemn smile on her face.

"Hey," Hikaru said simply.

"Hey," Shio responded.

They stood there in a brief awkward silence before Hikaru just decided to walk past her into the dining area. Kona was sitting at the table and staring down at the Ocean Book that sat closed on its wooden surface. Delphi sat in Kona's lap while she rubbed her back gently.

Hikaru and Shio sat at the table across from them which got Kona to tear her eyes away from the book.

"Hey Hikaru," she mumbled.

"Yeah...hey."

Silence fell between them once again and they all looked at the table. Where did they even start? They all knew why they were here, they knew what they wanted or needed to discuss, but none of them could find the words. What had happened just a few days prior, nothing could have prepared them for it. From what they had been told, it shouldn't have happened.

Suddenly, a bright orb of light flew out from the direction of the courtyard. Tide, Reef, and Delphi watched it because as soon as they saw it, they thought they knew what it was. The same had happened to the girls before after all; lights appearing from their chests and their heart shells flying out of the Ocean Book.

"That's," Tide started.

"That's the last heart shell!" Reef finished.

The orb flew closer and closer to Takumi but as they watched it, Delphi realized that something was wrong. This orb, it wasn't what she thought it was.

"Wait a minute...no...that's not a heart shell-phi," she said," that's-"

Takumi reached his hand above his head and grabbed the orb out of mid air once it was above him. He then lowered his hand and held the orb out in front of himself where it transformed into its proper form with another burst of light.

"The Prince's Medallion-phi!!"

"Mark my words, you are going to regret that you ever messed with me and the people I care about," Takumi said," this is a promise, I am going to destroy you!"

Tide, Reef, and Delphi watched with eyes almost as wide as Seiche's. Sure they knew that they were going to get a fourth teammate, but this way? And with the Prince's Medallion? What happened to the idea of the fourth heart shell being used by the fourth Precure? How was Takumi using the medallion?

"Kaito-kun..." Tide muttered.

"The Student Council President is the fourth Precure..." Reef added.

"The shining wings of the sea, Cure Nalu!" Takumi shouted," in the name of the Ocean Kingdom, I will vanquish you from this world!"

"So um..." Hikaru hummed, trying to break the silence," what exactly happened the other day?"

"I...I don't think any of us know," Shio responded quietly," beyond the fact that we watched Kaito-kun transform, we don't know anything..."

"What do we do with the last heart shell then? Does that mean we could have a fifth person become a Precure now?"

Shio shrugged.

"I guess so."

Hikaru smiled nervously and looked at Kona who still had her eyes glued to the book.

"Why are you looking at the book?" Hikaru asked.
