"Minsoo, are you okay to have a tent to yourself?" The teacher asked, and shone the lantern in my direction.

"Yes, I'll be alright, thanks." I answered, and fixed my sleeping bag, as well as my cushion.

"Okay, no problem. Good night." She answered.

Once she was gone, I laid down, and closed my eyes, and listened to the calm ambiance and outside. Letting about ten or so minutes pass, I laid up, and crawled out of the tent to see what the rest of the students were up to.

Seeing they were all scattered around the campsite site doing their own thing, I decided to go for an early evening walk along the lake. Straying a bit further away from the others, I began the walk, and by the time I spotted a pier in the distance, I made my way over, and decided to do a quick skinny dip.

Stripping down and placing my clothes on the towel, I stood at the end of the pier, and jumped into the lake. Right as my body went under, the coolness from the water sent a wave of adrenaline through my body, which was then accompanied by an exhilarating feeling that filled my body with even more adrenaline.

Letting a few seconds go by, I resurfaced, and as I did, I pushed my hair back, and cleared the water from my eyes. Floating on my back and gazing up at the sky, the stars were already to come out, and right away, I was amazed, as I never seen this much stars before. Feeling myself gradually drift away from the pier, I turned onto my stomach, and began to swim.

Reaching a halfway point of the lake where the water felt a bit colder, I stopped to catch my breath, and as I floated on my back once again, the sun had now gone down, and more stars had scattered the sky. Listening to the sound of the crickets, the gentle currents of the water and the ambiance of the forest, I felt at peace, and as I continued to gaze at the starry sky, my body, and muscles began to feel at ease.

Letting about ten or so minutes go by, I turned onto my stomach, and swam for a bit more. Wrapping up moments later, I swam back towards the pier, and as I pulled myself up, I suddenly had an unsettling feeling of being watched. As I dried myself off, I glanced over at the bushes, however, there was nothing in sight.

Taking no notice, I continued to dry off, now sliding the towel down the inner part of my thighs, before bringing it around to my torso. Right as I was to bring the towel to my chest, I felt the unsettling sensation linger about once again. Feeling uncomfortable, I wrapped the towel around my waist, and retrieving my clothes and putting my slides back on, I quickly walked off the pier and began the journey back to the campsite.

Along the way, the unsettling sensation gradually intensified - now making it seem like I was being followed, which made me walk a bit faster. Doing a quick check behind me to see if there was anything following, I found nothing, however, I didn't slow down, and continued to walk in a panicked manner. As my heart started to race, I gazed into the distance, and caught a glimpse of the bright orange and yellow from the camp fire, which brought a sense of relief.
