38. Scent

Unlocking the door to my dorm, I entered, and straight away, the smell of musk and sweat caught me off guard. Closing the door behind me, I headed over to the shared bedroom, and saw my roommate Han sitting at his computer playing a game.

Putting my bag down, I approached his desk and gave his hair a playful ruffle.

"Yah! The room stinks." I joked. "What did you do?"

"Nothing." He laughed, and paused the game.

"It's been smelling like this for the past two days." I added, and circled round to sit on his bed. "It always smells sweaty and musky."

"I didn't do anything, I swear." He added, and spun around in his chair to face me.

"Open a window, it's so rancid, especially on your side." I teased.

"Fine." He answered, and opened one near his bed.

Once the cool air found its way in, I left to take a shower, which made him return to his game. Spending about ten minutes doing so, I returned to our bedroom, and right as I entered, the smell was even more disgusting.

"Oh my, it's even worse!" I said, and placed one hand over my nose.

"How?" He teased.

"Can't you smell it?" I continued.

Seeing him sniff around, he shook his head.

"It still smells the same to me." He said.

"I swear it's you." I teased, and approached him, before quickly sniffing his clothes.

Right as I did, the foul scent entered my nose.

"It is you!" I jolted. "When was the last time you showered?"

"Five days ago." He replied.

"That's gross. Don't you shower after the gym?" I asked.

"I haven't had the time. I've got quite a few assignments due." He answered.

"That's nasty. You need to take a shower right now." I scoffed.

"Alright fine, when I get home from the gym." He answered. "I'm about to head down now."

"Alright, you better." I warned.

"I promise." He concluded, and taking his water bottle, he left the room.

After having my dinner, doing a few chores and giving our room a clean, Han returned, and straight away, I could smell the sweat and musk on his body.

"Hey Jungmin, I'm back!" He greeted, and damped his face with his towel. "Is dinner ready?"

"Yes, but you can eat after your shower." I said.
