2. A Familiar Game.

After some trial and error, we make it back to camp. I swear, never put me in a group with Duncan again, he is the worst team mate ever. He refuses to believe that he can be wrong. I hate him. I dont know how I'm gonna be able to stay on this island for 5 or 6 weeks and survive with him. If im not voted out, that is.

The other group takes their sweet time getting back. Me and the others are just sitting on the ground waiting, it's still light outside. Cody is next to me again. He is just slowly rocking back and forth. I think it's a comfort thing? I'm not judging, I do the same thing. I seriously debate putting my hand out for him to take. No. That's to forward. I havent made a single move and I want to go all in for hand holding. I'm sure that would go down just swimingly.

I want to start up a conversation, but don't know how to. I mean, what is Cody even in too? All I know is he has taken a liking to Gwen. I dont know why. She doesnt give off good vibes.

I realized I've just been staring at Cody for the past, I want to say...30-40 seconds? I quickly look away. He definitely noticed. Maybe if I dont bring it up, he wont bring it up. I see he is about to say something before Geoff and Beth stumble over with the rest of their group fumbling behind them. They look like shit. They've only been gone for an hour and 30 minutes? What could they have done in that time period? Beth looks like shes seen some shit, and Geoff is just looking terrified.

I'm not the only one who notices this, the rest of the group does too. Heather is the first one to speak up,
"What the hell happened to you guys? You look like hell. We couldnt find anything to do with homeschool, what about you guys?"

Geoff honestly looked like he was about to hurl, his face was turning green and he looked totally out of it. Beth was following suit, she looked horrible aswell.
"You guys good, you look like you've seen a ghost." Duncan said, silently laughing at his own stupid joke.

"E..Ezekiel.. H-He's." Beth stuttered, struggling to get her words out.

"Come on, spit it out brace face." Heather rushed her.

"He's dead. W..we found him chopped to pieces near the confessionals." Geoff spoke, shuddering at the memory.

"Wow. Bravo, 10/10 acting skill guys!" I said applauding the slightly.
"So, where's Chris, where's the cameras?"

All of that group, shot me glares, momentarily making me believe them.
I rolled my eyes before noticing some footprints that the group had trailed along with them, meaning they had obviously stepped in something and brought it with them, I didnt think much of it until I realized the colour was a bit off. It was a certain crimson colour of red.

Holy shit.

They aren't joking. They're fucking serious. I'm gonna be sick, I'm gonna he fucking sick. After seeing my reaction, I think the others picked it up to. All of whom, had similar reactions. Specifically Cody, he looked as he was genuinly about to throw up. He was already next to me, so, trying to be comforting, I moved closer to him. I dont know how comforting I could be in these moments as I wanted to literally throw up, imagining Ezekiel's dismembered body somewhere on this exact island, Chris nowhere to he found, along with chef (un-surprisingly) and the interns along with them. This is weird. Did they leave us on a island with a dead body on purpose, did they know? Is this another joke, or start to a challenge. What's going on?

We sat in complete silence for at least half an hour. I mean, what do we do in this situation? We have no help, no mobiles to call for help. We are stranded on an island with, most likely, a killer, because, let's be honest here, Ezekiel definitely did not do that to himself. I still feel ill.
