Rayna woke that next Tuesday morning, excited for everything that was happening. The guest room she was staying in at Terry's was bigger that any room she had ever had, it was better than the couches and cars she had slept on and in.
The sheets were crisp, clean and cool, she loved to lay there and take the joy in the feeling of the fabric against her skin. A quiet knock came at the door, she mustered up the words to give permission for whoever was behind the door to enter.
The door slowly opened, Terry poked his head in, his hair was down, she loved how the curls framed his face. He closed the door behind him and quietly walked over to the bed where she still lay hunkered down in the sheets.
"Good morning," he smiled, sitting on the edge of the bed, "I trust you slept well?"
Rayna giggled, scooting closer to Terry, she was sure he looked down the camisole she wore as a pajama top, "Good morning," she smiled up at him, stuffing a pillow beneath her and resting her arms underneath, "I slept like a log. I don't remember the last time I slept so well... Thank you for letting me stay here."
"Of course, it's my pleasure," Terry placed his hand on the other side of her hips, leaning over her, "I was thinking, I can buy that car from you that you got from LaRusso, get you into something better. You need a better car than that junk box you bought from him."
"Terry, no. I can fix it, I worked in a car shop for a short time. If it quits on me then, oh well, I have legs, I can walk."
Terry brushed his fingers against her cheek, "At the very least, you can drive one of my cars if you need to, I insist."
Rayna felt the warmth creep over her cheeks, "Ok... thank you."
Terry squeezed her hip, "Good. Time to get up lazybones."
They chuckled, Terry left the room so she could get dressed. Rayna stood in the vast bathroom, she couldn't believe where she was, she knew from all the stories Uncle John had told her that Terry was rich, but she didn't expect him to be old money rich. The house she stood in alone had to have cost as much as all her cancer treatments, and that's saying something.
Smiling at the thought of Terry's touch, she got ready for the day.

The pair headed to the dojo, Terry looked over at Rayna who wore a normal pair of dark jeans, black Converse and a tank top with her Cobra Kai sweater pulling her outfit together.
"You know, I should take you shopping," Terry smiled, he could feel Rayna's eyes on him, "All you had was what was in that suitcase, you deserve some pampering after all the bullshit you've had to go through. I will hear no arguments about it, I'll tell John I'm taking you for some clothes and other things this weekend."
"Oh, Terry... Jesus no," she chuckled nervously, "I know my opposition in this will go completely in one ear and out the other, but I just ask that you don't go overboard."
Terry told her he would try, but he urged her to be ok with him spending money on her.
They got to the dojo before John, they parted ways to change, Terry, giving Rayna the office and he took the back area, Rayna was only in her gi pants and bra when Terry opened the door.
"Oh! Shit! Rayna, I'm so sorry, I thought you were out of here already," Terry's face turned every shade of scarlet, covering his eyes.
Rayna pulled a tank top on and put her arms through the sleeves of her gi, chuckling, "You're fine. I have clothes on now," she began tying the inside of her gi closed when Terry slowly took his hand off his eyes, she began laughing. "Well, what do ya know, I finally made you embarrassed, it's about time."
