Rayna wanted Terry to take her back to the prison, to confront John while her feelings were raw, untouched, unmanipulated. He held her hand the entire way back, it pained him seeing her eyes, red, puffy, her face stained with pain, he wanted to murder John if he had the chance.

Before the car was even in park Rayna was out, marching back inside to face her demon. Once she handed the keys back to a guard she sat waiting, John emerged, taking an immediate notice of her expressionless face, her eyes still red, irritated.

"Aw, didn't find the cash you were after?" He sneered as he sat.

Rayna glared, wanting to wrap her hands around his throat, instead, in true Rayna fashion, she said what she needed to say, "You are a fucking monster," she said, fairly loud, others began to turn their attention to their table, "You take advantage of my mom, leave her, broken, pregnant, and leave like nothing happened," she seethed, John tried quieting her, telling her it never happened, that her grandpa was mistaken in his old age, "No," she stood, glaring down at the man who she once admired, "You're wrong. You touch my mother, you fuck up my family and you LEFT ME! You left your SON, you are a MONSTER," she yelled, a couple guards began to get closer, a few inmates that were sitting with their visitors took particular interest in what she was saying, "I hope you burn."

Rayna turned on her heel, walking away and never looked back. She heard John yell after her, telling her she was nothing to him to believe the lies of his brother. Once thing was for certain, Grandpa Edgar was a lot of things, but a liar was not one of them. He was blunt, to the point, what reason would he have to lie about something like this, what reason could he have possibly given to explain why John had disappeared. She stomped out to the car, Terry, worried, unsure of how to bring her any sort of peace, wrapped his fingers around the back of her neck, lightly rubbing, just wanting to be there for her.

"I want to go home, Terry. I want to go home, and be with you, I don't ever want to see this place again and I never want to see his face again," she said quietly, afraid to cry, afraid to show that type of emotion ever again. Terry, without saying a word, placed his lips against her cheek, laid his hand on her thigh and took them home. Rayna was silent the whole way, mulling over all the information she had been bombarded with.

Once they got home, Rayna quietly went up to their room, took her shoes off, leaving nothing on her body, climbed into the covers and grabbed Terry's pillow, burying her face into the fabric and cried. Terry gave her the space he felt she needed, after about ten minutes, he couldn't wait any longer. Slowly opening the door his heart broke seeing his love so upset and a shell of who she really is.

Terry quietly came in, sitting on the edge of the bed he carefully began to rub comforting circles on her back, Rayna quietly sobbed into the pillow. After beginning to calm down, Rayna slowly looked up to Terry, she was almost more upset seeing Terry so forlorn, unable to do anything for her.

Scooting closer to him, she laid her head in his lap, sighing at the comfort his fingers gave her as he stroked her hair.

"I'm so sorry, Ray, I wish there was something that I could do to make this go away or get better," Terry said quietly.

Rayna sniffed, wiped her eyes and managed in a hoarse voice to finally speak, "There is something you can do, Terry," she murmured, "Just be with me. Lay here with me, tell me everything is going to be ok, tell me where you want to take me, what you wanna do with me."

Terry did just that, he laid down with her, twisting their limbs together, Terry wrapped himself tight around her body, "Rayna... I can't tell you everything will be ok, it's not ok now, but it will be ok tomorrow, or the next day; eventually, you won't even think about any of this. You'll be sitting with me on a beach somewhere or we'll be making love one night in a city in another country, sitting under the stars wrapped together under a blanket... that's when it will be ok," Rayna's breathing was shallow, listening and taking in every word that poured from Terry's lips.
