Rayna woke around six, she hadn't slept much without Terry there, lazily, she rolled out of bed and checked her phone, no missed calls or messages. She sighed, making her way to the bathroom to wake up and get up and around.
Yawning as she made her way down to the kitchen, she ached for a good cup of coffee. The warm, dark liquid tasted amazing once she got it brewed. All she wore was one of Terry's sweaters and a pair of her soft, mid-thigh length shorts. Not much else.
Nearly an hour and a half went by, and her phone began to ring, all too excited that she saw Terry's name illuminated on the screen, she answered, "Good morning, Terry," she smiled.
"Rayna, sweetheart. I hope I didn't wake you, are you dressed?" She could hear the small smile in his words.
"Well, I have clothes on, I can come get you now," she giggled.
Hopping into the same car that she drove last night, she sped away to go get her man. She noticed an all blacked out Escalade leaving just as she was getting ready to pull in, it was definitely one of Terry's drivers, she shrugged and walked into the back of the dojo. Finding Terry hunched over, hair mussed out of his ponytail, he was drinking some water. He glanced up, beaming once he saw his girl standing there.
"Rayna, sweetie, come here," he smiled, holding out a hand. She knew when he did this, he wanted her to sit on his lap, she silently obliged him, straddling him, Terry kissed her deep, she didn't care for the booze she tasted on him.
"Did you get some sleep last night?" He asked, she gently tried smoothing his hair back but said to hell with it and let it all down.
"Well, I guess you could say I slept. Maybe a couple hours, it was weird without you there, I didn't like it, but I understood you wanted to be alone," she said quietly as she played with his hair.
"I'm so sorry, sweetheart, I hope you'll forgive me. I just didn't want you to be around when I get that angry," he wrapped his arms tight around her, holding her close to his body, he looked deep into her beautiful eyes, "Is... Is that my sweatshirt?" He chuckled.
"Why, it is. All I have on is this and my shorts. I didn't have the strength to actually dress," her face went red.
"Let's go home, Rayna," he said quietly before kissing her once more.
Rayna took them home, she told Terry she was glad that he got it worked out of his system.
Terry looked at her, smiling, he chuckled, "Only John can put me in a rage like that, I'm sorry you didn't get your movie night last night."
"Oh, Terry it's ok, a lot went on last night, there's always tonight," she peered at him.
Once they got home, Terry said he was going to go shower and try to get a couple hours of sleep. It still amazed Rayna at how much stamina Terry possessed, she was dog tired, only getting just a few hours and here was Terry, who had taken out his anger on the dummies and punching bags all night who said all he wanted was just a couple hours rest.
Rayna yawned, taking off all her clothes and scattering them on the floor as she slid back into bed. Emerging from the bathroom a short while later, Terry smiled at the sight in his bed, he shut the second layer of curtains on both windows before he curled up next to Rayna who nuzzled right into him.
She murmured into his chest, Terry couldn't quite catch it, but he was certain that he heard her say, 'I love you,' Terry wanted to scream it at the top of his lungs how much he had grown to love her. He kissed her forehead gently, whispering that he loves her too.
They slept for a few hours, waking around 11, Terry smiled at Rayna who still slept peacefully in his arms. She slowly woke up to the feeling of Terry rubbing her back, she sighed into his chest, grinning, happy that she woke with him home.
