After the events at the auction, Terry and Rayna learned that Amanda had taken the kids and left Daniel. Terry had intended that very thing to happen, Rayna knew, but she said nothing of it, she wasn't exactly a LaRusso fan in the first place.

During class later that week, Stingray appeared in the dojo. He was the one who had been beaten to a pulp by Kreese, Rayna was surprised to see him at Cobra Ka. Terry gave him a warm welcome.

"Come with us, Raymond, we have a surprise for you," Terry smiled, having Rayna follow him outside.

"Oh wow!" Stingray exclaimed at the car that sat before him, "Sensei Lawr- I mean, my old Sensei used to drive one just like this, with the Cobra Kai and everything on it."

"This is Sensei Lawrence's. My car guy found it at a car auction. It's yours now," Terry tossed the man the keys. Rayna wrapped an arm around Terry's waist, whispering, "You are a softie," he looked down at her, murmuring, "Don't tell anyone my secret."

Once they got Stingray squared away with a new gi, Rayna finished some paperwork for him in the office as Terry continued class, "Are you alright, Raymond? I know you must be tired of that question but... if there is anything at all you need, I'm here and so is Sensei Silver."

The man smiled, "I-I'm good. A lot better now than I was. I don't even really remember a lot of it happening to me, I just remember Sensei Kreese's face and the last few punches and then nothing..."

Rayna felt horrible, "I'm so sorry, Raymond. I feel I owe you an apology, that was my uncle and I just," she shook her head, unable to find the right words, "I'm sorry it happened."

"Oh, Sensei Ray, you're good. I'm fine now and Sensei Silver has done a lot for me already. I'm just happy to kind of be back," he grinned.

Rayna finished up what she needed and excused the man. She sat there in her and Terry's office.

Speaking to no one but herself, murmuring, "Why would Uncle John beat that guy? He's odd but I just don't get it." She sighed deeply, thinking about everything, she didn't want to see her uncle, no, but something beckoned her to go to him.

Terry interrupted her thoughts, kneeling next to her, "Hey, honey, are you alright?" He asked, taking one of her hands in his, rubbing comforting circles against her skin.

She shook her head, like shaking the cobwebs and dust away, "Yeah, I was just thinking."

Smiling softly he tucked a stray wave that had fallen from her headband behind her ear, "Care to share?" His voice made her melt, his touch was about to incinerate her, 'fly too close to the sun and you'll get burned,' or whatever the saying was. She loved the feeling of his skin against hers.

"I was just... I was thinking about going and seeing Uncle John. I'm nervous. I just don't know what I'd say or do, especially after how he left and what he said to me. I'm dead to him remember," she laughed half-heartedly at her answer.

Terry stayed knelt down on the ground, taking both of her hands in his, "Whatever you want to do I'm here."

Rayna nodded, not saying another word about it. There were no classes on Thursday, so she suggested they go then. The sooner the better.

As the day came, Rayna's stomach was in knots and summersaults, not knowing what to expect or if John would be accepting of her presence. She fiddled with the hem of the blouse she wore. Terry noticed her worrying the fabric in her fingers, reaching over he placed his hand gently against her fingers. He easily enveloped and covered her fingers, he smiled warmly at her.

"Ray, if you don't want to do this we-"

Rayna cut him off, "No. Terry, it-it's fine. I need to do this."
