A black haired boy with brilliant blue eyes was knee deep in metal. At the far end of a semi large city was a dump.

The dump was separated into two distinctive piles. The garbage pile and the scrap metal pile.

Danny only ever visited the scrap metal pile. He had inherited tinkering around with junk from his parents.

Currently he was working on a new invention he called responsive technology. He had a prototype of black and white suit made up of nano-bots.

The suit would move at the will of the wearer. It would fortify itself against any punch, kick, or bomb. The small kind of bomb.

The shoes were made of reflective fabric. It made each kick blinding for the villain. Sharp razors lined the bottom of the shoe and extended out on command.

However the suit wasn't what he was grabbing parts for at all. It was the helmet. See, he wanted it to be mind control proof and to protect the head.

He also planned on making it retractable so the wearer could take it on and off at will. The inside would have built in fans lining the mask to keep it cool.

The boys blue eyes scanned the wreckage and his gaze fell upon a sheet of metal. It was flimsy.

He picked it up and almost shrieked out in joy.

It was discarded material from those two way mirrors! This stuff is high value material and super expensive.

Danny scowled, some rich prick must've thrown it away.

He careful wrapped it up. This was the best he had found yet! Plus it would make a perfect cover of the mask.

The boy checked his wrist smart watch and cursed. He was going to be late if he didn't start running.

He ran to his apartment to drop off his new things and change into a more professional outfit before he ran down the crowded busy streets of Gotham.

As he arrived in front of the Stark Industry building he recalled the day he had been hired.

He had finished out highschool earlier than his peers after taking a couple courses in business and engineering. His school counselor strongly encouraged him to apply to an ivy League school.

Danny wouldn't hear any of it. He hated the thought of attending any college. Highschool had been more than enough.

The first thing he did after graduation was move away. He moved someplace new with fresh.

A city that's criminals never slept.

He had marched straight into a branch of Stark Industries with a blueprint in his hand and his high school diploma in the other.

The interviewer asked to see the blueprints to which the boy shook his head no.

"If you don't show me then I can't consider you for the job" the interviewer threatened.

Stark himself had been walking by when he heard something he liked. Stark had only come to Gotham because a new project had come to light.

So he listened in and quickly came to like the applicant.

"It would be stupid to let you see the blueprints, I'm not a sucker."

The interviewer pursed his lips.

"I have a better idea. If I can assemble the item in under five minutes, you have to hire me, then I'll show your boss the blueprint"

The interviewer grew red.

"No! Show me the blueprints! If you can't listen to your superior LEAVE! We have no use for the likes of you-"

"Actually, I think it's a terrific proposal" Stark said leaning against the door frame.

The teenager smiled. If he hadn't been given a chance back then to work at Stark he would have created his own company. A tough plan B for sure.

He made his way through the building and reported to the design room.

Lucky for him he was exactly on time. He sat at the table sketching out blueprints for something titled B tech. It was a secret task Stark had entrusted only him with.

Stark stood in a sound proof room with Bruce Wayne.

"Thanks Stark. This is the only place I could bring the car too. I'll be back tonight to pick it up." Bruce said.

"Don't worry about it Bruce, nobody will know"

Bruce shook Starks hand before leaving. Stark immediately headed towards the design room as soon as Bruce had left.

The car had been brought in the night before in secret and a tarp lay over it as it sat in a locked car repair station.

"Danny!"

The boy flinched before raising his head to see his bosses wide smile and overly optimistic demeanour.

"Morning boss" he said as he set his pencil down.

"Listen, I need you to fix up a car for me. And you have to keep this between me and you. I swear I'll pay extra for the job"

Danny smiled at the prospect of even more money.

"You have my word, and my address. I won't tell a soul" Danny said standing up.

As soon as the tarp was off the car Danny was in awe.

He didn't even want to touch it.

" Did you design this?!" Danny asked.

"Yes I did" Stark replied proudly.

"Its amazing!" Danny said examining it.

"It's outdated. I need you to reprogram it, modify it in a sense. I'll be back to see what you have done in a little while" Stark said leaving the boy to his devices.

Once Danny got past the fan boying he got to work. He had to peel up some panels and reprogram the circuit board. He thickened the wires and added a new piece of technology.

Danny worked for hours on the computer. Finally Danny took a step back. He touched a button and the cars exterior became of blanket of camouflage.

He had used state of the art technology that reflected the area around it. This way, Batman (Danny squeals), could hide his car.

Danny went under the car and tinkered with its engine. Danny had just finished adding the boosters and the cooling fans so it didn't overheat and catch fire.

Of course it was costed with a special paint that was impossible to catch on fire, but Danny didn't want to take any chances.

The sound of footsteps approaching the car made Danny excited. He popped out from under the car, ready to show his boss what he had done.

Instead he saw a strange man standing in Starks place.

"Who are you?!"
