Danny left Stark Industries that night at around ten thirty. It was dark outside, the only light was coming from the streets lamps along the sidewalks.
Danny stepped around the passed out drunks that usually came out at night.
His routine was the same as ever. Coffee, home, sleep, work, more coffee.
He occasionally ate large meals that he ordered from a food app. Other than that he ate fast food or nothing.
Coffee was enough.
Danny sat at a table scrolling in his phone while he waited his order.
The dorr jingled signaling another customer.
"I need a large black coffee with four packets of sugar- can you guys put five hour energy in there too or- no. Okay I'll do it later"
Danny looked up at the sound dof five hour energy. He consumed that a lot. He found it hard to sleep, so in order to not fully die he chugged energy drinks.
His thoughts of Monster and Five hour energy were interrupted.
"Large black coffee, extra sugar for a Zanny Random!" The barista called out.
Danny scoffed at the horrible butchering of his name.
"Thanks, and it's Danny" he said in a tired voice as he grabbed the cup.
He left without a second glance at the stranger. The stranger however took a picture of him.
Danny walked along the street. Tomorrow he would finish that helmet.
Danny downed the coffee in the span of ten minutes and passed out on his floor anyway.
He woke up a little late for work. When he showed up Stark chuckled.
"What?!" He asked offended by the staring.
"Nothing" Stark said eyeing his hair.
Danny tried to pat it down as Stark smiled at him with a teasing look in his eyes.
Tim sat down at a rather large computer set up. Sitting on a separate table was his coffee, and about ten empty cups.
He had bags under his eyes as he clacked away. He had been working on a case for a while now.
The justice league had created a sort of outreach program called Find. The program located heroes who needed assistance.
Heroes who weren't really highlighted in the media and needed support. Especially young heroes.
Several pictures and articles littered the desktop. Most of a singular hero.
It was a hero that had extremely high energy levels consistent with paranormal activity.
To highlight these strange abilities, the hero had titled himself Danny Phantom. The Find programmed had overlooked this hero.
It wasn't that they hadn't known about him, in fact they monitored him quite closely. It was just the fact that they believed he was a dead Hero.
They didn't find him eligible on a technicality and he didn't even know.
Tim chugged his coffee. They overlooked him for too long and tragedy struck.
Sure, it hadn't been so to a villain, but those people should've been fined for what they were doing.
And after that the hero known as Danny Phantom just, disappeared.
Most believes he had gone into hiding or was dead, dead.
Tim chucked the empty cup in anger. He had failed that hero. The entire league had.
