"happy birthday" I woke up to Nate saying as he kissed my neck "thank you" I wrapped my arms around his neck, he pecked my lips twice "you look beautiful" he smiled, I rolled my eyes "you do" he kissed my cheek "thank you..you look handsome as always". "are you training today?" I asked "no i have plans for you today!" "you do?!" he nodded "go get ready!" I smiled and hopped out of the bed.
"is this okay?"I was wearing Black jean shorts and a white NDA shirt "yeah!" he was in a plain black shirt and black jeans with his hat, chain "where are we going?"I wrapped my arms around his waist "you'll find out" "I don't like that" he smiled "come on" he grabbed my hand. He opened my door to the trunk, making sure I was in he closed the door going to his side. He pulled into the Starbucks drive thru, he order my drink without even asking " god I love you" I smiled, he laughed "what?" "the fact you got my order right" he shook his head.
"Barnes and Noble?" I asked as we pulled in and he put the truck in park "yep!" he got out and opened my door "what are we doing here?" I looked up at him "you are going to pick 26 new books! As a birthday gift!" he smiled "26?! no i'll pick two! 26 is like 500 bucks" "I didn't ask i'm telling" he raised a brow wrapping his arm around me, opening the door "we don't have room for that" "I have that taken care of". He grabbed a cart "stop Nathan you can't spend 500 bucks on books" "yes I can, fill the cart" he laughed. "why'd you put that one back?" He asked "I think i'll like this one more" I held the book I was reading the back of to him "get 'em both" he picked it up and put it in the cart "baby you can't get all these" I looked down in the cart which had way more than 26 book, every time I picked one up he put it in the cart. He nodded and smiled "come on. to the check out". "do you need bookmarks?" he asked looking through them "no i'm okay love" I smiled he grabbed a few and put them in the cart. "just this stack, not this one" I told the cashier "no she'll take both" "Nathaniel!" he smiled, he grabbed both the bags wrapping his arm around me "thank you!" I smiled up at him "you didn't have to do that" "your welcome mama's" I leaned up at kissed him.
"okay close your eyes" he said smiling as we got to the bedroom door, I closed my eye he opened the door and helped me walk in the room "open!" he added I opened my eyes to a brand new bookshelf "oh my god! when did you get this in here" I smiled "I had Nick put it together for me while we were gone" "thank you!" I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him "of course!" he kissed my cheek.
Nate was watching a UFC fight on the TV in the living room, when I came in with my new book. I sat next to him with my legs in his lap, he wrapped his arm around me and I laid my head on his shoulder "love you birthday girl!" he kissed my head I looked up to his big smile "love you too! thank you for today" he nodded and kissed me.
