Alysanne

In the week that followed, guests flowed into the keep until the royal family was stifled. To keep their sanity, all the Targaryen children took to dragon flight to avoid the chaos taking place on the grounds. Alysanne wished she could join them. Instead, she and Elin dutifully met with the Queen to go over wedding preparations.

Alicent attempted to control everything and, for the most part, Alysanne allowed her to. White and winter roses would adorn the sept, as well as the throne room for the reception banquet. She offered her input on the menu and the cakes and left the rest to the queen. Their wedding in Winterfell had been more than enough for her.

Two days before the wedding, there was a feast prepared in the garden, along with minstrels and plenty of drink. Despite the heat of the sun, Alysanne and Aegon mingled and smiled and danced until their faces and feet hurt.

"Can we not have a minute alone?" she complained as they were mid-dance. "Can't you just take me into the maze and fuck me?" Aegon chuckled, tightening his hold on her waist, and caressing over her back, enjoying the way the black dress she wore clung to her curves. His mother's face had turned red the moment she saw it, shaking her head and muttering about inappropriate dress. Elin's red gown was just as revealing, both dresses slit up the leg of the gowns.

"I would love that," he groaned, gripping the ample curve of her ass, "but people would immediately notice our absence." Alysanne sighed in agreement, eventually releasing him, and searching for Elin.

When the sun began to set, Queen Alicent and Otto bid everyone goodnight, encouraging her children to have fun but behave. Wine flowed in the garden as the older guests began to retire for the evening, leaving the younger generation to continue with their fun. Alysanne's heart hammered in her chest every time she thought about the fact that she was going to marry Aegon the following morning; this time in front of the entire realm. She leaned against Crim, scratching her affectionately behind the ears.

"Spin the bottle?" Prince Torstyn offered, Ornythiel grinning beside him.

"Spin the bottle?" Helaena asked softly.

"It's a kissing game..." Melina Vance informed her, dropping down into one of the free cushions beside the Dornish prince. She was the same age as Aegon, if Alysanne recalled properly.

Alysanne passed her new sister the jug of wine, praying the Queen wouldn't murder her for corrupting the princess, just as Daeron joined them. Helaena's cheeks turned pink as she filled her cup, still stuck on what Melina had said.

Beside Alysanne, Trystaen Lannister joined the circle, giving her a playful nudge. Fighting the urge to run her fingers through her golden tresses, Alysanne reached for the wine.

Aegon, however, did not seem excited about the game.

"I don't want anyone—"

"We're already married..." Alysanne purred in Aegon's ear. "Where's your sense of fun, my love?" Aegon sighed and shook his head.

"What am I going to do with you?" he asked. Alysanne grinned.

"Hopefully, lots of things..." she replied softly, her hand grazing his thigh.

"Fucking minx..." he muttered, grinning at her. "Alright, why not?" Prince Torstyn grinned and finished the bottle of rum he had been drinking, placing it on the stone in the center of the circle they had formed.

"What if you have to kiss another man?" Helaena asked suddenly, intrigued by the whole idea of the game. Torstyn's smile widened.

"Your brothers are rather lovely, aren't they, princess?" he jested. Helaena giggled and Alysanne laughed.
