The next few days passed quickly and always in the same way. Mo Xuanyu got up, went to school, got yelled at by his cousin, and he worried Wei Wuxian more and more.

Time and time again, Wei Wuxian would say things like "You can talk to me about anything" or "If something is bothering you, I'm here for you" out of nowhere in a conversation.

So Wei Wuxian suspected that something was wrong. How could he not, where Mo Xuanyu was acting so strange.
He was really a bad child. If Wei Wuxian found out what was going on, he would definitely kick Mo Xuanyu out. Not only because he was gay, but also because there was no one who could stand him in the long run. He was just not a really likeable person.

But since Wei Wuxian apparently did not plan to punish him for his bad and abnormal behavior, Mo Xuanyu just decided to do it himself.

Whenever he behaved even a little out of the norm, but his aunt still didn't think it was bad enough to hit him, she would deprive him of any food.
This inevitably led to him behaving even worse than before, because he always felt so sick and dizzy when he had not eaten for three days, that his aunt and cousin finally beat him up and locked him in his room for several hours anyway.

So Mo Xuanyu stopped eating. If he didn't waste too much of Wei Wuxian's food, then maybe the man wouldn't be quite so angry with him in the end.

In the morning, he always ate just a bite and then said he just didn't feel hungry.
He didn't notice the worried looks Wei Wuxian gave him.

At school he gave his lunch money to his cousin and in the evening he always said he was still full from the food he had at school.

And so Mo Xuanyu's condition worsened over the next few days.

Whenever Wei Wuxian tried to talk to him, Mo Xuanyu avoided him. He didn't want him to find out what was going on. He didn't want Wei Wuxian to know what was wrong with him.
