After the literal end and rest of the world Marinette would like to think she grew as an individual. Needless to say the event had scarred her, the man she had grown up getting inspired by, the father of the boy she loved, turning out to be the worst villain she could've ever imagined, and not being able to talk about it as no one knew about it in the 'new' world, she had a lot of pent up stress. Thankfully though, with the help of Adrien and her friends she was able to work through the stress.

She had never really worked up the courage to tell Adrien who his father really was, and what Adrien himself really was. Ignorance is bliss after all, he was happy now, content with his life and those who surrounded him.

That was a few years ago now, when they were still young and stupid, when they thought that paris would never have to deal with the likes of hawkmoth ever again, and when she still believed in her and Adriens love. Its true what they say, young love is the blindest sort of love.

She struggled with her position as gardian, struggled in her position as ladybug, and when she found out who chat noir was, struggled to keep their presonal problems out of their team work. This new hawkmoth was even more brutal than the previous one. Adrien became unrecognisable to her, he seemed to have changed as a person throughout the years, all they seemed to ever do was argue, nothing was ever good enough when they were around each other. They demanded perfection from one another, draining each other mentally and emotionally.

She couldn't blame Adrien fully through, she had changed as well, she had started to focus more on her career, she had no time to dedicate to their relationship, she was too tired to think rationally, getting irritated at Adrien no matter what he did. In return, Adrien started to care less, he wouldn't care about what he would do, sometimes going out of his way to hurt her, because she hurt him. She knew it, and a cycle of pain was created, they would both do things with the intention of hurting the other, pushing the other further and further apart, until she broke everything off. Her career took off, she was doing well, they defeated the new hawkmoth, she renounced her title as ladybug, renounced her title as the guardian, broke up with Adrien and she moved to Monaco. Now at the age of 26, she ran away from the stress, from her past life, from everything.

She had only kept in touch with a few people; her parents, Alya and Luka. She rented a modest place by the bay of Monte-Carlo, before buying and settling in a nice house, she loved the view, it was so different from Paris, the beach, the culture, the people, she loved it. It had that air of sophistication to it, not to mention she loved looking at her store admis the other luxury brands. Sure, she missed the comfort of Paris from time to time, but she was determined to start a new life.

Damian had grown to hate Gotham.

There really wasn't anything great about it, the socialites were boring, the citizens were boring or traumatised, he grew more and more bored of the redundant routine he had gone through while staying in Gotham. Wake up, work, be robin, rinse and repeat, it was always the same thing, there was never anything new. Sure there were the usual battles with villians which spiced things up, but, he had grown bored by it.

At the age of 17 he had started his own company, they were a car manufacturing company, he had originally gotten the idea while roaming around in his father's garage. Bruce had just been glad that Damian had moved on to a more 'productive' habit. His boredom had led him to be more destructive as Robin, more like Jason in his younger days. Damian had gotten into the automotive world by taking apart and putting together some of Bruce's cars, realising he had a real passion for it. He started small, working after school with Lucious.

Luscious would explain to him some of the thermodynamics concerning the batmobile, and the different jets, eventually, Damian had designed his first engine, and his first car design. He took inspiration of the sleek design or porches and the bold look of a Mercedes, originally targeting your average middle class citozens before expanding his market.
