|Elle's husband dies after being involved in a car crash.|

"What've we got?" Elle asked as she walked out to the ambulance bay after putting on a yellow gown and gloves.
"John doe, early 30's. Involved in a car accident, cardiac arrest on route." The paramedic said as they unloaded the the man on the stretcher.
"Oh god." Elle said once she looked down at the man.
"You know this man?" A paramedic asked.
"Yes, i know him." Elle said. Elle and both paramedics started wheeling the stretcher into a trauma room.
"Wilson, i need your help." She shouted out once she spotted her best friend. Wilson walked over and looked at the patient.
"Your husband?" Jo questioned, shocked.
"There's no time to stand around. Either help me or leave." Elle said.

"Wilson, page Shepherd and Bailey stat." Elle said once she has finished doing the necessary exams.
"Got it." Wilson replied.
A few minutes pass by and Amelia Shepherd and Miranda Bailey walked in.
"Dr. Grey, What've we got?" Bailey asked. Elle didn't say anything.
"Her husband." Wilson informed.
"Your treating your husband? Have you gone insane ?" Bailey asked, slightly shocked.
"No! I'm doing what anyone else would have done." Elle said. Everyone was still doing a few exams. "no one was available when he came in." She said.
"He needs surgery, right now." Amelia shouted. "Wilson book an OR and page Torres." She instructed. Jo left the room.
"Why do you need Torres? You've got me." Elle asked as they pushed the gurney through the hospital halls.
"If you think i'm gonna let you enter that OR whilst we have your husband on the table, your more crazy than i thought." Bailey said harshly.
"Okay." Elle sighed. She let go of the gurney after kissing her husband's forehead and watched as he got further and further away.
Elle walked away once she lost sight of them. She walked into the attending lounge to find it empty and sat on the couch with a sigh. She closed her eyes and let her tiredness take over.
"Hey, i just heard." Elle was startled awake by Meredith and Maggie bursting in the room.
"mhm." Elle hummed, closing her eyes again. Maggie and Meredith sat on either side of the youngest sibling.
