"MiMi" Teddy shouted once she spotted her baby sister at the nurses station. Maisie turn around.
"Oh, my god." Maisie whispered when she saw Teddy looking at her with a huge smile.
Maisie dropped the chart and pen on the desk and ran over to Teddy and jumped in her arms, wrapping her legs around her waist and arms wound her shoulder and putting her face in the crook of Teddy's neck.
"Your back." Maisie mumbled. Teddy laughed at her antics. "For how long?" She whispered, moving back slightly to look at her older sister with a small pout on her face.
"I'm staying. I'm not leaving." Teddy said. Maisie squealed and hugged Teddy tighter.
"Thank god. I missed you way too much." Maisie said dramatically.
"I missed you way more." Teddy chuckled. She kissed Maisie's forehead and went to put her down only for Maisie to cling on tighter.
"No. Don't leave me." Maisie said, tears threatening to spill.
"Hey, i'm not leaving you, i'm staying remember?" Teddy said softly. Maisie nodded slowly. "You need to get down because i have a surprise for you." She said. Maisie reluctantly let go.
"You know i hate surprises." Maisie whined. Teddy grabbed her hand and pulled her down the hall.
"You will like this one." She said.
"I swear, if anything pops out at me i will kill you Theodora Grace Altman." Maisie groaned.
"Nothing is gonna pop out at you. Let's refrain from using my full name please." Teddy said.
"No promises." Maisie grinned making Teddy shake her head. "Tell me, please." she said once they get into the elevator.
"Nope, you will find out in a few minutes." Teddy said.
"That's too long." Maisie complained. The Altman sisters stepped off the elevator and started walking down the hall.
"Where are we even going?" Maisie asked curiously. Teddy rolled her eyes.
"I can't tell you. It's a surprise remember?" Teddy said.
"Your boring!" Maisie huffed as she stoped in her tracks.
"Come on, what are you waiting for?" The eldest Altman asked, turning around.
"I changed my mind." Maisie said as she started walking away.
"No! No, no, no." Teddy shouted walking after the younger girl. "Maisie Mae Altman get your ass here right now!" Teddy demanded. Maisie stopped dead in her tracks. She turned around.
