My feelings for you are like liquid gold
They burn to a degree so high that it is difficult to hold
So dangerous to come in contact with
When heated, but so easy to mold
So easy to manipulate when treated so delicately
Makes me feel something like a luxury
Treated so reverently when in reality I'm nothing more than a necessity
My feelings burn for you more than you could imagine
It's saddening to know it's not tangible
Because if it was it would be more damaging
If you could see how durable it is
To wait for someone else to come along and find it valuable
It would be almost laughable
When you see how adaptable my liquid gold can be by the time it cools down
Because when the peak hits
And my moulding is done
It'll shine so bright inside me
That even you will be stunned
