The next morning, I rolled out of bed feeling happy. I grabbed my robe and tied it up. I loved that it matched my pjs shorts. I didn't even care that it only went down to the middle of my thigh. It kept the upper half of my body warm and it was unbelievably soft. It was also purple with little hearts. Purple is my favorite color. I looked in the mirror and after several minutes of trying to straighten out my crazy, blonde hair, I decided just to put it in a pony tail. I headed downstairs for breakfast. I could smell the waffles, bacon, and eggs that mom made. I had forgotten that the boys were here so when I got to the bottom of the stairs and heard the annoying voices, I felt like a big, black rain cloud just floated overhead.

"Good morning, Honey." Mom cooed as I approached the loaded table. I mumbled a hello as I plopped down on the stool in between my brother and some boy who was obviously egotistic and trying to rebel. I am not even joking. This kid was pierced and tattooed yet he clearly spent time on his hair. He looked picture ready. I looked to see if the rest of the boys were dressed and acting the same way but none were. Harry sat across from me next to two boys. One was a blonde kid, with really blue eyes and hair sticking out everywhere. He was stuffing his face like it was the end of food. The other was a shirtless brunet with muscles popping out everywhere. He was pretty cute. Next to my brother was another boy who kind of faded into the background. I looked at mom and she was giving me a stern look, "Rebecca, this is Niall, Liam, Louis, Zayn and you already know Harry of course." They all said hello and I just nodded then started dishing up my food. Mom cleared her throat and I found her glaring at me. I sighed, "Sorry. It's so nice to meet you." Mom smiled and I added, "Nothing like a bunch of Harry's friends hanging out and being dicks in the one place that I enjoy. Feel free to go back on tour anytime." Mom shook her head and left the room in a huff.

"Hey Bec, Maybe you should go out for Halloween without any makeup on. It sure is scaring me." Harry shot. The kid next to me, Zayn, choked down his laughter. I was beginning to dislike him. "Also, I like that outfit. My little sister had the same one when she was four." I wanted to extinguish Harry's fire. "Harry.." The muscly boy mumbled, trying to get him to stop. I made a mental note of that. "Oh, wow, what's that disgusting thing on your face?" Harry asked. He looked genuinely concerned so I grabbed a napkin and wiped off my face. Harry's laughter stopped me, "Oh wait, that's just your face. My bad." I felt my eyes tearing up as everyone tried to unsuccessfully stop their laughter from coming out. I tried to force the tears down but Harry had a way of embarrassing people. I dropped the fork that had a bite of waffle, grabbed my glass of water and dumped it in his face before storming up to my room. "He will never fucking grow up!" I cursed, "He made grade 8 and grade 9 a living hell for me. Now he has to fucking come back and do it all over again!" I grabbed my keys and climbed out my window after getting dressed. I needed to get out and vent to someone. I called Jess when I was in the car and told her to meet me at the mall.

Finding a parking spot was almost impossible. Then when we finally got inside, an elderly lady needed help finding Urban Planet. It took us 45 minutes to get to the food court. I was ready to burst by then. While in line at Orange Julius, I vented to Jess, "And I knew if I didn't leave, he would find more ways to embarrass me. I would have definitely cried. You remember all the things he did when we were in school together?" She nodded somberly before ordering us two extra large smoothies. "Harry's always been a prick but it seems that it bothers me more now." Jess shrugged, "Maybe you're not used to it now. It has been a long time." I could feel my anger building up again, "Do you remember when he invited me to Junior Prom?" Jess' face told me that she did. "He'd been so nice for a month. I thought he had changed. I was so excited. Boy, was I a fool or what? I cried all night." Jessica chuckled, "Harry's definitely a prick and not a good one. It sounds to me that his friends are the same." I shook my head, "No there was one boy. He's kind of buff with short hair. He seems different. He has really beautiful, kind eyes." I clamped my mouth shut. I hadn't meant to say that! Jess stared at me in disbelief, "DO NOT fall for a friend of Harry's! They are ALL the same! Do not forget that!" I nodded. "Can I help you?" The sever asked. A sweet, British accent answered, "Can I get a Triple Berry smoothie, large, and a pizza dog?" My head snapped back to the familiar voice and the boy that I had just been talking about was ordering from Orange Julius, right behind us. I hoped he didn't hear me.

"That was the best shopping trip ever! It's like you used your anger to lead you to the cutest clothes!" Jess and I flopped down on my bed, our bags falling to the floor. I turned my IPod dock on and "Our Song" by Taylor Swift came on. I grabbed my unplugged Karaoke mic and started to sing along while dancing. It wasn't long before Jess was beside me turning up the music and dancing while laughing. We probably looked like we had gone crazy. "Our song is the slam of screen doors!" I belted out. When it ended, we both laughed breathlessly. "Song request, Just the Way You Are." Jess begged. I agreed and put it on.

"Oh, her eyes.." We started quietly and nervously. It wasn't long before we were loud and proud. "When I see your face...!" I pointed at Jessica and fell to my knees. I sang with my head hanging back. Jessica laughed and helped me to my feet. We continued to bounce around while singing until I noticed two forms in my doorway. I froze. It was the cute, muscular kid. I couldn't remember his name. He was standing next to the blond boy. "Don't stop! You're amazing, just the way you are!" The cutie sang. I turned off the music and he looked pretty embarrassed. "Becca, that's your name right?" The blond boy asked. I nodded, "Only my friends call me that. It's Rebecca for anyone else. You're Niall and Louis? No, wait. Liam right?" They laughed boyishly, "Yes, I'm Niall and this is my mate, Liam." His Irish accent was strong and really hot. I blushed, "Oh, sorry Liam. So what can I help you with?" I was trying not to be too rude to these boys who seemed pretty friendly. "Well, your mom wanted someone to come get you for dinner. I figured you didn't want to see Harry so we offered." Liam answered. The way Liam smiled at me gave me butterflies and I was positive that my face was going pink with blush. I glanced at Jess and she was glaring at me. She was clearly trying to remind who his friend is. I pushed aside my emotions, "Thanks guys. We'll be down in a second." With a nod, Niall and his very attractive friend left.
