"Alright, I'll be back as soon as possible. I promise. The moment that they say that we're done filming, I'll run all the way home to you." Liam promised. He had to go onto the David Letterman show. I didn't want him to go. It was only last night that we made love. "I'll miss you a lot!" I whispered. I was somehow embarrassed by my simple statement. Liam's face told me that he thought I was being cute. "I'll miss you too baby girl." I smiled at the name that I had received last night. I looked into his eyes and saw the sadness that was behind them. He really didn't want to go. He pulled me further onto his lap and cuddled me. I loved the way Liam's big strong arms felt around me. I felt safe when we cuddled like this.
I reached up to my neck and took off the necklace that I was wearing. Liam smirked as I clipped it around him. "A key?" I laughed at his tone. "The way I see it, we're like a secret locked in a box and now you have the key to let the secret out when you're ready. It's technically the key to not only my heart but yours too." Liam chuckled, "That's a lot of importance on a key." "The secret is really important too." I mumbled annoyed. Liam kissed me, "Thank you for the gift. Of course the secret is important."
Liam and I spent the next hour playing Mario Kart then he had to go. He was standing in front of my bed, holding me in a hug. I kissed him softly then deepened the kiss. Liam's arms tightened and he held my legs around his waist. He laid me down on my blanket gently. I nipped at his neck and smiled as he moaned. He let me nip at him a little more then he pinned me back, laughing, "I really can't stay even though you are being pretty persuasive." He kissed my forehead then went to the door. "Wait Liam!" I begged. He turned around and smiled at me sweetly. I ran to him. I couldn't let him leave like that. I grabbed him like it was the last time that I'd see him and kissed him hard. Liam held me again with his hands on my butt. When the kiss ended, he set his forehead against mine. His eyes were sparkling and he was grinning like crazy. "I love you." I felt the butterflies flapping through my stomach, "I love you too." I whispered back. I kissed him one more time then shut my door behind him. My heart hurt as I listened to him leaving.
Liam's POV
I hated the hurt look in her eyes as I left but I really couldn't stay. I would make it up to her, that's for sure. "You guys are on air in 3, 2, 1. Go!" I barely heard David talking through out the show. He noticed, "Liam. Why have you been so quiet?" He asked. I laughed, "I have a lot on my mind, but I'm here now." David raised his eyebrows, "I bet it's a girl!" The crowd cheered. "So Liam. Tell us. Is it a girl?" Should I tell? She'd get hate or fan mail. Things wouldn't be the same. That's when I thought about the way she looked at me last night and how much fun we had swimming together. I thought about the way we took care of each other when she was hurt. I thought about the happiness on her face when I told her I loved her.
"Yes David. It is a girl but I'm not interested in saying who." All of my mates looked back at me in shock except Niall, who put his arm around me. "Tell us about her?" David begged. I nodded. My fingers found the key around my neck, "She's amazing, beautiful and sweet. She's sensitive, honest, trusting and trust worthy. She's everything I could ask for." David smiled but the guys had their eyes glued to me. "Is this just a fling or is it serious? The real deal?" I felt my cheeks turning pink as I smiled back at them, "It's the real deal." David grinned then turned his attention to Niall.
When the show ended, we all piled into the SUV. We weren't seated for even a minute when the boys turned on me. "Who is she?" Louis asked. "Do we know her?" Harry asked. I went to answer but Zayn got in, "If we don't know her, we should. It sounds serious." I laughed and held up my hands to silence the boys before Harry threw another comment in. "I'm not ready to tell who she is yet and I know as my brothers you will respect that." That kept them quiet for a little while.
