(Sasuke x FemNaru)
Naruko Uzumaki is the daughter of - well, she didn't know. As far as she was informed, her parents had died. The Third Hokage never seemed willing to tell her anything about her parents. The villagers never seemed to like her, too...
"Yeah. We need to go to the Hokage's office to see what the mission is about," Kakashi sensei said in his usual, bored voice.
Naruko's eyes sparkled. She was absolutely thrilled. "YAY! WE HAVE A MISSION!"
"Naruko, come back here, we have to go the Hokage's office," Kakashi sensei grabbed the collar of her cropped jacket and the four of them made their way to the Hokage's office.
When they reached, they saw the third Hokage sitting behind his usual desk. However, there was a man beside his table. An old man.
"Are these the people guarding me?" The old mad asked sceptically. he had a white towel around his neck, and was carrying something on his back. He also seemed to be carrying a bottle of sake.
"Yes, Tazuna-san," the Third responded. The old man looked at the children and their sensei doubtfully.
"But they are just kids! What will they do?"
Naruko fumed. She thrust a finger at Tazuna accusingly. "Don't underestimate us! We're not weak, ya'know!" Sasuke facepalmed. Saku put on a guilty smile on her face, and Kakashi sighed.
"Enough, Naruko. We are supposed to guard him. Tazuna-san, please explain."
Tazuna took a swig from his bottle and sighed. "I am the head of a bridge-buliding project. There are a few robbers in that area, so I need you to protect me from them. Are you up to it?"
"Of course, old man!" Naruko cheered. Kakashi bumped her head.
"Respect, Naruko!"
"Naruko-chan is so cute," Saku gushed inwardly.
They head off for the Land of Waves.
"Hey, Saku-kun, what do you like to do in your free time?" Naruko asked, purely out of boredom of walking in silence.
"E-eh, me?" Saku blushed a deep shade of red. "O-oh, uhm, I like tending to flowers, playing trivia games, and uhm, yeah, thats it."
"Ok." Naruko placed her hands behind her head. Saku's heart leaped. She asked me, not Sasuke! SHANNAROO!!
Kakashi sensei, meanwhile, was enganged in a conversation with Tazuna. He was enquiring about the mission and what kind of dangers would they face.
Suddenly, two ninjas appeared on a branch of a tree.
"QUICK!" Kakashi yelled as the three got into a defensive position. Kakashi sensei narrowed his eyes.
They weren't supposed to encounter chunins in a C-rank mission.
The two chunins launched towards him. Kakashi immediately got struck, but his substitution jutsu immediately turned him into a piece of wood. The chunins were aiming for Tazuna. Naruko immediately went in front of Tazuna, with a kunai in hand. But the chunins were welding chains and were too fast. Sasuke got in front of Naruko at the last moment and hit the chains away.
Saku, however, was pushed to the floor. He watched in shock as Naruko got stabbed in the hand by the chain. It was a poisonous chain. Saku knew it when he saw it.
Kakashi sensei appeared out of nowhere are tied the chunins up with ease. "Sasuke, well done. Naruko, you have to be more alert."
Sasuke looked at Naruko. "Scaredy-cat." Naruko looked at him in disbelief. Bitch.
Naruko clutched her hand in pain.
"Sensei, I'm gonna die, it was poison..."
Then she had a-well, not so practical-idea. She pulled out her kunai and to everyone's shock, stabbed her hand.
"Naruko-chan! What are you doing?"
Saku immediately went to wrap Naruko's hand with bandages. As the pinkette fussed with Naruko's hand, Kakashi sensei noticed her wound heal faster than ever.
So, this is the power of the kyuubi..
