The group continued walking to the edge of a lake. From there on, they needed to take a boat to reach the Land of Waves.
Saku chose the seat closest to Naruko, much to Sasuke's annoyance. He huffed and sat opposite to them, beside Kakashi.
When they were in the boat, Kakashi-sensei raised a question that made the three childrens' ears perk up.
"Are you sure this is a C-rank mission?" Kakashi-sensei seriously.
Tazuna's eyes widened.
"Those ninjas were chunins," Kakashi-sensei continued,"and we are not supposed to be bumping into chunins on C-rank missions."
Tazuna sighed. "I'm so sorry. We did not have enough money to pay for a B or A-rank mission, so I had to conceal it as a C-rank mission. Please, understand. The buliding of thes bridge is extremely important. Will you please help me?"
Saku hesitated. Kakashi-sensei was also quite sceptical. But Naruko was all for it.
"Sure, old man! We'll help! Right?" She looked at her other teammates.
After a while of thinking, Kakashi sensei nodded. "Okay. But if it poses a threat to the kids, we will return."
Tazuna looked like he was going to melt with happiness. Naruko swore she saw tears in his eyes.
"Thank you, thank you so much!"

Later...
"Your really strong, Kakashi, but I'm stronger," Zabuza sneered. Kakashi, even with his sharingan, got pushed into the water.
"How-" Suddenly, Kakashi felt water surround him. Zabuza smirked.
"You're in the Water Prison."
Kakashi spun his head. Shit.
At a least a dozen of water clones were headed towards the trio, who were protecting Tazuna. Kakashi tried to scream - tried to warn them, but the water absorbed all the noise.
"R..run! N..Naru...ko, Sasu..ke-" But the water clones were too close.
Thank god, Sasuke was on the team.
"Naruko, Saku, look out!" Sasuke yelled. Naruko immediately created many shadow clones, but Zabuza cut through them easily with his long blade. Naruko's heart dropped.
This guy was strong.
Suddenly, Naruko got an idea. She pulled out a fuma shuriken from her backpack.
"Sasuke take this." Sasuke looked at her, and they nodded at each other. He got the plan.
Sasuke hurled the shiruken at Zabuza, who easily caught it. Sasuke smirked.
That wasn't the only plan.
To Zabuza's surprise, a second shuriken was hiding in the first's shadow, thanks to Sasuke's Shadow Shuriken technique. Naruko's clone materialised form the shuriken. She threw a kunai at Zabuza, making him lose focus and his water prison technique was released.
Kakashi-sensei was out.
Zabuza, however, was enraged. Then, he aimed at the one person who was not involved in the fight.
"WATCH OUT, SAKU-KUN!!" Naruko screamed, running towards him. Saku was paralysed with fear. His body wouldn't move. Suddenly, she saw a yellow and blue flash come in front of her.
Naruko fell into Saku's arms, a deep red gash on her stomach area, her eyes fluttering shut.
