"what's so funny?" Claira frowned but irene just scoffed.
"why so serious? we're having a good time that's enough not to call me secluded" irene pursed her lips as she put down her empty glass on the table signaling the waiter to get another drink for her

"just because you didn't become doctor you'll just say that like i didn't love this profession" claira uttered unintentionally being mean to irene but irene just pursed her lips and the smile on her face vanished and looked away.
"irene that was....i'm-----irene" then no words needed irene left from the bar leaving her best friend inside.
yep, claira was her best friend since they are highschool but nope, she felt humiliated which claira unintentionally did. irene knew that was not the point of claira but the suffered she'd experience the day when she found out that she didn't passed to the bar exam is cannot be taken as a joke, she suffered after that day, she knew in herself she did enough but why? and because she fail being a doctor she pursed the dreams of her sister for her, being a lawyer. she prove to herself that she was deserving that she did enough to passed the board and when she found out that she passed being a lawyer. she didn't become happy, how would she happy when that's not what she wanted to be in the first place? she strive for more and more but never in her life she got contented from what she is now. she wants more and more and more until she lose her control.
