Okay, I may not be the sharpest crayon in the box but even I can tell the problem that's clear on everyone's face. Chiron had said Lia's last name. Which means he knows her first name. Which means he knows her. Which concludes to the fact that he knew she would come or someone told him.

Looking at the others, we all came to silent agreement. Play along and ask (interrogate) later. But turns out that Annabeth wasn't in the mood to cooperate because the second we sat down she asked.

"How do you know her name?" She demanded.

"How about we introduce ourselves first and then continue this conversation." Chiron replied calmly.

Okay. That wasn't so bad. But of course that very moment the Fates proved me wrong.

"My name is Lia Maria Vonders. I was 12 years old, originally, but have been changed to 10 years. I am not from Manhattan or this country, I'm from Canada. I have no idea how I ended up here, last thing I remember is going to sleep and waking up in the city. I believe I know all of you, considering that I have knowledge of the past, present and the future, so kindly answer how you know my name." Lia spoke thoroughly as if she wasn't being stared on by the entire camp.

See, that's the issue. That is why this is bad. We don't know whether we can trust her or not. We can't have campers knowing about this at least until we know we can trust her.

"Annabeth?" Chiron asked after some time. I didn't really understand but then Annabeth began speaking.

"She may be a mortal Hunter of Artemis who either left or was told to leave which would explain why she wasn't able to eat ambrosia like a demigod could've. But of course their are plot holes. So then she may be a child of one of the Olympians considering the number of monsters the Stolls described were chasing her, that is if they weren't lying and simply lesser capacity for eating ambrosia." At that there were a few people gaping and a shout of protests from the Stolls.

"If she is a daughter of an Olympian, judging by her looks she could be a child of Hermes, Aphrodite or even Poseidon." Before Annabeth could continue more she was interrupted by the person in question.

"I have brown eyes." Lia said. "That is if I still have brown eyes and they have not been changed." She continued.

"Children of Poseidon can have light brown eyes but it's rather rare." Annabeth explained.

"I see, any other theories?" Chiron asked deep in thought.

"There is one." She answered lowering her voice which would not have been heard if the camp wasn't so quiet.

"Go ahead. I'm sure Miss Vonders wouldn't mind." Chiron said gesturing to Lia.

"Oh don't mind me. I'm curious to know what else you think, if you think I'm a spy of Kronos or something, I totally understand. I would think I'm a spy too." Lia said casually as if she didn't just say what she said.

"Fine.... my last theory is that you may be a spy or Kronos but you may also have found out you were a demigod very recently and fallen in the hands of Kronos who persuaded you to join him. And if he thinks or found out that you a child of the Big Three, he will use you for controlling the Great Prophecy." Annabeth concluded. Now everyone, save Chiron was gaping. Once a child of Athena, always a child of Athena.

"That's a very, very interesting theory, but I have a simpler one. You're all not worthy." Lia said looking all serious with her hand on her chin. But I understood none of it.

Annabeth voiced what was clear on everyone's face. "What?"

"Sorry, reference. Couldn't resist." She chuckled and replied. Noticing the looks on our faces she said. "What? Never heard of Marvel?" She questioned. We all shook our heads.

"Dam. You all really live under a rock." She mused. "Anyway, I meant to say that it is indeed a very interesting theory which is most likely possible but let's see my accounts."

"First of all, I am and always have been in my 12 or 10 -you pick- years of life, a mortal. I have never been half immortal or a demigod. That is something I'm positive about." She said definitely.

"Wait but how-" Some Athena kid began.

"Listen, first, ask later. Second of all, I had absolutely no idea how the heck I ended up here because, as I said before, I remember going to bed and waking up in Manhattan. Third of all, some of you Athena kids might have noticed I said 'had' in my previous sentence. That is because now I do have an idea of who sent me here but I don't know why."

She didn't get the chance to continue because another Athena kid (who would've guessed) asked "And who sent you here?"

"Oh the Fates apparently. They didn't really specify the reason but I have a theory that I will not be telling you about so don't try to argue and anyway." She turned to Chiron. "I believe you owe me an explanation?"

Chiron sighed and and pulled out a letter from Gods know where and showed it to her. She took the letter ruefully and opened it. Now, our curiosity would've gotten the best of us and we would've peeked seeing as she was barely trying to hide it when we realized why. It was a demigods worst nightmare. Cursive handwriting.

"As she is reading in the letter, it states that the Fates indeed did send her here but the reason is not stated. It also gives you the answer to the question I'm sure all you were thinking -Why in the dinning pavilion where everyone can hear us?- the reason is rather simple." Chiron paused. "The Fates said it's better to let you all know and figure it out then and there rather than a thousand false rumors going around."

"Hold on. This says in the end that there is another letter coming." She looked at Chiron. "Did it come yet?" She asked while bringing a glass of water towards her mouth.

"Why yes it did. It came not long after this one. But it was clear that it was sent by someone else as the messenger happened to be an owl. Would you by chance happen to have a idea who sent it." Chiron replied.

At the word 'owl' she spit out her water that barely missed the person sitting in front of her. That person just happened to be me.

"W-what? An owl? Do you by chance have the letter right now." She said so fast I could barely process any of it.

"Yes. This is the one." Chiron said not at all flustered by her as he took out an envelop with a strange stamp on it consisting of four different animals.

As soon as it came into her hands a scream ran through the pavilion, filled with shock and joy?
