Rose and Bruce started off they little adventure both nervous of what's to come but both excited.

As soon as they arrived they spent they whole day in bed , sorting things out eating pizza , just being lazy.

The next day they decided to go to a fair , playing whatever games they could enjoying every moment of it.

They spent they weekend settling in and being comfortable in they own space.

Monday came and they both started work , Lindsay was on her way to work she was nervous but excited, Lindsay really loved kids she enjoyed teaching them.

" Mrs Martins nice to finally meet you" , " Good Day Ma'am" , " oh please call me Chery , I am the dean , I was really impressed with your work , just the other day I was watching your study guide videos with the kids you're really impressive" , " thank you " they walked in.

" this will be your class room but I want to talk to you about one of your students you'll notice immediately, her name is Isabella Lamont she went through something traumatic and her parents don't seem to have time for her , she doesn't speak let alone move from the corner until she has to go home , if you can please get through to her " , " not a problem " , " good ill let you settle in , the teachers room is that side do come by at lunch and ill introduce you , yes?" ," sure " she walked in the classroom and walked around looking outside the window.

A little girl walked in and sat at the corner she smiled as other students came in and the bell rang.

" good morning students , I am Ms Martins " , " Good morning Ms Martins " she smiled.

" such bright voices I feel so welcome already, now my little angel as you can see there are pieces of paper on your desks please right your names on it and wear that around your neck as you do some introductions for me , ill start " she wrote her name on the piece of paper and wore it around her neck.

" Good morning class I am Ms Martins I recently moved her and I am excited to be your teacher , I hope you can come to me for comfort or anything other problem you have so we can fix it all together , Love your favorite Ms Martins " the children laughed as she threw kissing hearts.

The day went by fast it was now lunch time the girl in the corner had not said anything she sat infront of her opening up her lunch box seperating it into two.

" Hi my name is Ms Martins and id like to be your friend " she had her hand out and the girl just looked down.

She cupped her face bringing it up looking at her the girl starred at her " I couldn't see it before but you're so beautiful " the girl started tearing up and she picked her up sitting her ontop of her lap she hugged her rubbing her little back.

" are you okay? Did I do something wrong?" The girl picked up her head standing on her feet " Mom don't you remember me ?" , " Princess are you okay ?" She hugged her again.

The girl suddenly sat back down " My name is Isabella Lamont, and I'd love to be your friend " Lindsay smiled and they started eating.

The girl would smile stealing glances at her " why don't you play with the other kids?" , " I don't have friends, I don't know how to make friends " , " mhhh but I am your friend and that's a start right " she nodded.

" let's make friends together " she smiled widely " thank you mom " , " Ms Martins the dean is calling you " she got up having her hand out for Bella " let's go " , " you want to go with me " , " yes I am scared the dean called me as my friend won't you accompany me ?" She smiled intertwined they hands and they walked out.

They entered the teachers room " Ms Martins stu..." , " Bella is my new friend, I was nervous and she came along with me " , " wow how good of a friend you are Bella" the dean voiced giving her a thumbs up.

" we can do the introductions later why don't Bella show you around our school " , Lindsay bent down " what do you say ? Adventure buddies?" , " Adventure buddies " Bella repeated smiling and they walked out.

The rest of the day was easy and nice Bella no longer sat in the corner alone she tried making new friends and talking.

Once the day was done she kissed Ms Martins goodbye and ran to her car.

When she got home she ran up the stairs and got into her room waiting for her father to come home.

As soon as he got home she ran to him " dad ,dad " , " yes princess "he picked her up " I saw her I met mom " , " ofcourse you did she's downstairs " , " no daddy listen at school there is a new teacher its mom , she doesn't remember we need to help her remember " , " Bella " , " on my birthday I can get anything I want right?".

He nodded " on my birthday I want you to come to school with me so you can see I am not lying " he cupped her cheeks " anything for you sweetheart " she hugged him.

" you seem different, are you enjoying school ?" , " yes dad , mom helped me make new friends " , " she did huh ? This seems to be a good teacher so you don't want to change schools anymore? ".

"No I love it there everyone is so nice " he kissed her forehead " good , did you eat?" She shook her head and he tickled her for the first time in a year he finally heard her giggle again.

Lindsay went home and soaked her body in a bath tub her phone rang " hey " , " Rosey what's wrong? Why are you down ?" She chuckled.

" I love the school thanks Bruce " , " really? Were the kids okay?" , " they were wonderful" , " there's my little Rose happy in her own little world " , " so can I take my prince charming to dinner?" , " yes but tomorrow we're having a get together at work today so ill be dog tired by the time I get back" , " okay tomorrow then no changing plans " , "ofcourse bye " she relaxed back in the bath.

She really did have a great first day.
