Eda clawthorne, not the most humble of people, but one of the best. She didn't have the stereotypical life a woman would have. She wasn't married or anything, actually, she'd fallen very hard for her best friend. A tale as old a time, they were kind, sweet, overly caring. Ultimately attracting her, a car free, chaotic spirt. She knows they love her, but she wants them to be IN love with her. As she was sitting on her couch she checked the time, she was late.

Where was she going now? To see that best friend. She was finally dressed and running out the door. Why? Because she's desperate. They agreed to check out a new store together, because eda said it looked cool, but they were busy when she saw it. Eda lived by herself, she didn't even have a pet. Eda put on a fitted black shirt and a jacket she borrowed From Raines closet a year ago, which she had no intention on giving back.

Eda left and grabbed her keys, wallet and phone. She hurried out, hoping Raine wouldn't be mad at her, because this actually wasn't the first time she was late. She lived in California, a busy, and extravagant place, also where people had most mental problems, so eda fit right in.

Eda finally got to the front of the store, where she saw Raine. They waved at her, as she slowed down as to not bump into them. "H-hey raine!" She said as she caught her breath. "Calamity, fashionably late as always" they teased. Eda chuckled, and brushed her hair behind her ear. "Y-yeah, sorry! But I'm here now, so let's check out this store" eda suggested, and pulled them inside.

The store was dark, with purple and red lights shining, giving a sort of creepy feeling. "Oo~ spooky" eda cooed, which made Raine laugh. "Edaa cut it out" they said playfully. Looking around, it was a collectables store. A lot of little trinkets, and such. "Woah, this is pretty cool, what do you think, eda?" Raine asked. "Yeah it is really cool! Look at this cat charm" eda said. It was a small key chain with a little black cat on it. "Yeah, it is pretty cool, you should get it" Raine said. Eda got it, and went to the counter with Raine. "Uhmm.. Hello?" Eda asked.

Suddenly, a woman with short brown hair came from the back. "Hello young horny children!" Both eda and Raine started blushing from such a comment. "What can I do for ya?" She asked. "Uhm.. Just wanted to buy this cat charm" eda said. "Alright darlin, it's like-" the woman stopped when seeing the charm. "Y-you sure you want this?" She asked. "What? I mean.. Yeah, it's cute" eda answered. Raine put a hand on edas shoulder. "Hey, I'mma keep looking around" they said and walked away. "Oo a little crush there?" The woman asked. Eda looked at the woman's name tag and saw her name was Evelyn. "Uhm.. N-no- your old, what would you know" eda scoffed. Evelyn laughed. "Yeah maybe I am, but I can actually tell someone how I feel, now do you want the charm or not?" Evelyn asked. "Yes! Jeez.. How much is it!?" Eda asked. "2 snails" eda looked confused. "Snails?.. You mean like- the animal?" Eda asked. Then a man with blonde hair came out. "Dollars, she ment dollars" he said. "Oh, yeah alright, here" eda said and gave Evelyn 2 dollars. Eda took the chain and waited for Raine at the counter.

Eventually they came and bought a small little chest that could for nothing but lint. Eda chuckled trying not to make fun of them. "Wow rainestorm, watcha gonna put in that? Bubbles?" Eda asked playfully.

Key word was try

Raine scoffed and lightly shoved her away. Eda laughed. Raine payed for the chest. They left, but as they did Evelyn said. "Yeah.. Those two are gonna fuck one day" the man sighed and face palmed.

When they left, eda decided to just go home. Mainly because being around Raine made her a mess and she'd absolutely die if they ever found out.

When she got home, she collapsed on her couch, but put the cat charm on her night stand. Unknowingly setting off a chain of events
