~A new start~

" NOOO I DON'T WANNA GO MA"

7 year old Alex screamed at his mother as she was trying to get him in the car.

"Cariño we have to go, come on your padre is waiting in the car "

Alex's mother said trying to get the little one to stop crying and behave.

"MA I DON'T WANNA MOVE OUT WHY CAN'T WE STAY HERE"

The little Mexican boy complained clearly not wanting to leave the current town he was living in.

"Alexis I've explained to you a million times that your father got offered a better job in the town were moving to, and I'm sure your gonna like it so much there besides the park is just a few blocks away from our new house and guess what"

The mother said knowing the little one would be over the moon to hear that they are ducks in the park, considering the cute obsession he had with them.

"W-what ?"

Alex said wiping his tears with his free hand, while the other was holding a duck plushie he had since he was a baby.

"The park next to our new house has a little lake and do you know what animals live in lakes Alex?"

The woman said kneeling down to her child's level smiling at him.

"Animal that lives in....OH DUCKS DUCKS LIVE IN LAKES RIGHT MAMÁ"

The little one said super excited.

"Yes amor "

The mother said picking up the raven and walking to the car as they continued to chat about ducks and all the information the little one had about them.

It was Saturday and Alex just woke up in his new bed, since it was a long ride and he fell asleep on his mother he doesn't remember anything other then leaving his old house.

He got up to see that he was in a huge room with a big window that gave you the view of the road and the people passing by.

"Wow.."

He said on his tip toes trying to look outside the window.

Alex was short so he couldn't really see the view so he decided to go outside, when he left his room he also realised that it was a two story house which surprised him cause he always lived in a small one story house since it was all his parents could afford.

He started to make his way downstairs as talking could be heard from the kitchen.

"Ma?"

The boy said looking for his mother.

"Alexis, your finally awake how did you sleep honey? "

His mother asked picking him up and pecking him on the head.

"I-i slept good"

The raven said looking around and adjusting to he's new surroundings as he rested his head on his mother cuddling his duck plush.

As the woman was making pancakes the little one suddenly said.

"Ma can I go outside and see the garden?"
