"Where were you? And what where you doing!"

Someone said as soon as the front door opened, it was Quackitys mum leaning on the kitchen counter holding a belt.

"Selling drugs"

The boy said rolling his eyes and placing his jacket on the counter across from his mother.

She looked mad at the joke and Quackity couldn't help but smile.

"Chill I'm joking mama, I went for a walk"

Quackity walked over and squashed his mum in a tight hug and told her.

Than he made his way to the fridge and took out a cold bottle of water and poured in to a thin cup of glass.

He took a sip and placed the cup on the counter.

"You should really drop the belt people will think you hit me"

He joked and leaned on the counter.

"Maybe I will who knows"

The woman said playfully slapping her son's cheek and taking a seat at the old wooden table that had been carved by all kinds of drawings and words by little kids.

She looked at them and examined every little drawing on it, and smile warmly at the sight.

"Quackity come here I wann show you something"

Rosa said and Quackity quickly walked over and took a seat next to her.

He quickly realised what his mother wanted to show him and just leaned his head back in embarrassment.

"Maaaa not this againnnn"

The boy said and then rested his head on the table watching his mother as she pointed to every shape and drawing permanently carved on the wood, and told every story behind it.

Alex smiled hearing the storys about his childhood, although he didn't remember much and that made him sad he didn't let it get in the way and just laughed and acted like he remembered, but it wasn't all an act since as the storys where being told more hidden memories came to life.

Memories that where buried deep in to his mind and had been forgotten over time.

Suddenly Quackitys mum came a across a little drawing, It was a heart with two initials in it.

"Do you remember this? I remember the exact the day when you and Wilbur came home from school and where so excited to finally be in the same one"

Rosa said smiling and looking at her son as the boy stared at still with his head resting on his arms.

"Mhm, and then you made us pancakes and took us to an amusement park and I was so scared to go in any ride and that.., that little shit forced me"

Quackity responded chuckling at the end, he remembered that day all to well.

Even tho he was so scared he had so much fun being with his friend and just hanging out.

"You guys were so close..."

The mother said in a sad tone as she layed back in her chair and watched her son sit straight and move some of his long hair aside.

"Really?"

Quackity said in a mocking tone and raising a brow.

Even tho deep down it hurt him he always chose to laugh it off, not only with the whole ex best friend situation but with everything that made him sad or hurt him.
